The Clover knitting needles I have been using for the past two years are different ones. It is the first time I have Unlike other needles, these are smooth and clean
Yes, I am. In keeping with the larger needle size, a larger stitch will be made as the needle diameter will be larger and the yarn used will be more. It seems like going up or down one full needle size provides you with one half stitch per inch less, or 1/2 stitch more, depending on how big of a needle you are using. As an example, a size 9 might give you 12 stitches / 4 inches, but a size 10 might give you The bigger needles you use will always result in bigger stitches, no matter how big the gauge of each knitter or the weight of the yarn is.
The needle size of a 5mm is a US size 7

As I have arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome, they are a great help for my hands. I don't get fatigued or inflamed when I use my hands. The needles I use now will never be replaced by any other kind.
I can also avoid static shock when using this, and I can knit pretty finely. My current project is to learn bamboo stitch, and this set of needles makes it fairly easy to fix mistakes when I make them.
I would prefer a #2 circular needle for larger projects, and/or a shorter #2 needle for smaller Despite being long and unwieldy, I was always worried that I would accidentally break them, due to the slim bamboo shaft. Alternatively, maybe I am just not a talented enough artist This is largely a quality product, but I'm not a fan.
The first time I knit, I am a beginner. Because I was unsure if I wanted my stitches to fall off, I did not want metal. This certainly is a better option in that sense. I know, these, for a scarf, are quite long - perfect for a newbie This is something I didn't think of. Getting shorter ones if you don't have any experience and want to work a scarf or hat flat would be better. While I was frustrated with the grip, I did some research and found a solution. A homemade compound of beeswax (which I had for another purpose) or some other substance worked quite well to make the slipperiness not too great. It made a big difference after I had done There are no bits that tend to grab your yarn, they are straight and even. - They have a light quality and Overall, I am happy with the outcome. Now that I have a little more experience, I ordered metal ones It will be interesting to compare the two.
The people who make it know what they are doing.
As well as aluminum needles, I also have a problem with them being slick. Smooth but with enough "grip" to keep the yarn on the needles, these needles are perfect for knitting. In the future, I will buy this brand of needles whenever I am in need.
This needle was purchased since I needed a longer needle for my project.
As Clover, Takumi brand, this works as expected and is very high quality. I find them to be quite agile. Although they may feel a little heavier for those unfamiliar with long needles, I find them to be quite effective.
When I had a plastic set break and I had to get through TSA, I ordered these. The needles are a little more frictiony than what I usually use considering I don't usually use wood needles. They've generally been good, but I have noticed that they have acquired a bit of a curve and have taken on some of the color of my yarn.
