Questions & Answers

The circular I ordered is 16" in diameter (size 7). However, it seems too small to make a ladies' The cord is the right size for a hat, isn't it?

The needle size for making my hats varies depending on the length and thickness of the 16in circular. As soon as you master the basics, stitch management is a breeze. You can either bind off or proceed to DPNs depending on the decrease patterns.

Can you tell me the length of the Could you please let me know where I can find the 16" cord with 3" tips?

Taking the size of the tip of the metal from the point to the end of the metal at the beginning of the cable 75" in length. There are 16 points on the map between the two points. The needle I use for lace and non-lace projects is both good for me.

Would you mind if I asked if these were actual needles that were 5 inches long?

It seems to me that the stitches are shorter if the needle is 16 inches long. It is necessary to have a longer cord with 5" tips There are typically 14" needles, so a total of 24" needle is used.

Can you tell me how long the needles are? A 9 inch circular set came with needles that are only around 2 inches long. Am I going to have trouble working with that?

A 16"cord with 3 and a half feet of rope The longer cords are 3" long, and the shorter cords are 5" long. In order to work properly with short cords, the needle must be shorter. As far as needle length is concerned, they are the same as other brands.

The needle I prefer the most
5/5

The ChiaoGoo needles have become my favorites by a long shot. Using sock yarn, I knitted hats, and these needles worked perfectly. I have used HiyaHiya needles and they had not as sharp a point as sharp needles. The yarn they split on most of my socks does not split. I find that the cable is much heftier than my HiyaHiya blue or green cables, so it does not flop as much. I have improved my speed since I'm able to slide my stitches easily as I work. Trying to read the laser size etching of the text is kind of like attempting to read a thermometer from the 1940s. I can always fall back on mine because it matched perfectly with my gauge tool. If you do not know what type of needle point your needles have, you should not select them. The longer needle point on lace needles is the perfect choice for finer yarns, but would be more likely to split dk/sport/worsted.

My favorite feature of this system is its ease of use! The only thing I can add to what everyone has said about these great knitting needles is that they are fabulous
5/5

To make a long skinny scarf for Christmas, I have been working on it. I love the yarn, but it splits a lot. Metal circular needles are what I am used to. One pair of shoes I tried wouldn't I use straight bamboo needles with sharp points but the yarn dragged when I used them. Chiaogoo 5 came in the mail to me. We are eager to try out this amazing set of 5mm (US size 9) 16 inch red lace circular knitting needles after seeing all the good reviews on Amazon. I am speechless! My knitting is going along nicely now and I am adding no stitches or taking out any stitches. It's so much easier to knit lace pattern stitches now that the tips are nicely pointed Red lace cord, which holds the two needles together, has only one purpose in life. The needles don't require you to twist and turn to place them as you hold them. I don't think it can think for itself. (It should! It just lays there like that. This set of needles will be the last one I buy. I will save my money and get the whole set. In my opinion, yes, they are that good. These will be loved by you for sure. Please read PS. Everything worked perfectly, and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Spending a penny on this book is worth it. All of the elements I need are at my fingertips and I can make many combinations. Despite the cords being wrapped around the needles, the needles are firmly attached. My love for this system hasn't diminished. We wish you a successful knitting project.

They have very sharp points but are nice needles
4/5

My overall impression of the needles is positive. They are easy to manipulate due to the flexible cords on ChiaoGoo needles. Needles with such pointed tips do not please me. Points that are very sharp. As these are lace needles, which have pointed tips, I realize that they're lace needles. The pointed edges are too sharp for my taste. The tips of my finger scrape when I pull the yarn through as I knit. I am a continental knitter. There seems to be a small difference in the roughness of one needle and another, causing a bit of drag (faulty?).

Maintains its shape when knitted tightly
5/5

A dog sweater is on its way to me and I plan to knit one with these circular needles. As this was my first time knitting with circulars, I was unsure what to expect, but I am pleased that they have emerged intact so far in knitting four dog sweaters. Because my stitches were tight, it was sometimes a bit difficult to pull them onto the tips, but it wasn't too difficult. Though I worried I would break the cable off, they held up nicely despite my pulling too hard. There is one issue the tips are a little pointy and slightly irritate my fingers after a few hours. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and am happy to recommend it to anyone interested in knitting.

I like it more than Addis! You can use this to make hats, small cowls and more
5/5

When trying to use my addi 36" circulars and magic loop method to make a small project, I was extremely frustrated by the way the yarn kept getting snagged There are a lot of guys out there, but addis were supposed to be the best. I took a chance and ordered these, and I find that the yarn slides right over the connectors. Despite the fact that it hasn't snagged It's a good thing I didn't opt for the whole set of Addis. As of now, I will vote for Chiaogoo!.

Circle needles that are good quality
5/5

Having taken a long, long break from knitting, I am just starting again. For a particular pattern I was trying out, I needed circular needles of size 13. Because I do not have a lot of experience with circular knitting, I did not notice the circular part would be so short. However, I am able to work with the pattern since I am only using Due to their metal nature, the needles are easy to remove from the body. As an older woman with arthritis in my hands, any inaccuracy I have while using these needles has nothing to do with The product is well made and of good quality. The brand is what I would buy if I needed another size in the future.
