It's a great product, and I use it all the time, but that moron who puts a sticker over the needle size pissed me off. I always write the needle size somewhere in the packaging since I am old and occasionally forgetful, and every now and then, I will forget to do so, and I know that one day I will forget again. Thus, I must retrieve another contraption and follow the instructions to determine what size needle to use. The problem is simply an aggravation, but this is not the first time that such an issue has arisen. My review policy is almost never to review items unless something is really wrong or incredibly great about them. This is because I want to use them for a while and then I forget about them.

For my knitting, I'm a fan of finer things, so I use thinner yarn and smaller needles--I never liked the thick stuff or the large needles, I took the fine stuff. The needles are a size 10 according to my knitting needle sizing gauge, not a 9 according to my needle gauge. I did not find any markings on the package indicating the size needed (I needed a Sz9). Due to my need for a project to be finished quickly, the off-size wasn't a significant deal for me, since I was only cinching my beanie hat's crown and the pom pom would cover any looseness. The manufacturer is not someone I would be likely to order from.

I found these double pointed needles to be perfect for making wrist warmers for my husband. The bags are very lightweight and very easy to carry. Although I was concerned they would be too short, since I'm used to knitting with DPNs that are 7 or 8 inches long, they were excellent!.

It was necessary to use a pair of these DPNs to knit a pair of socks. The only thing I was concerned about was how slippery the metal would be since I've used DPNs quite a bit before. I am hesitant to try these needles because of the sharp points. But I hear fantastic things about ChiaoGoo needles from other knitters. A set of their bamboo DPNs is in my possession, and I dislike them as they As I get my socks up, these do not hurt my fingers, as they have a more blunt end. When they are new, they are a bit slippery, but once i get going a few rows in and my tension evens out, they work fine and stay in place, just like the DPNs I have usually These will be perfect for you if you've used DPNs before and like using metal needles.

They are awesome! I am so happy with them! The steel DPNs are what I chose for my sockweights and fingering sizes because I knew they would be strong and reliable A breakable object. There are smooth and slick needles that stitch easily, but are not so slippery that falling out of the stitches is a concern.
