My first pair of needles has arrived in the mail. Currently, I am a brand new knitter. I thought they were a good starting size for beginners because they were light and they were comfortable. One thing that was difficult for me was that the aluminum needle liked to slide on my project. After I got the hang of knitting, it wasn't a problem anymore. The needles you are holding are the ones I recommend.
There was a problem with one of these needles when the order was placed and returned, and it was severely damaged on both the tip and side of the tip, which rendered it useless. A person attempted to put them back together, but failed, with multiple layers of cellophane tape around the bottom 2 inches of the packages. Their packaging had been torn open in two places, and they had been ripped open in two places. I guess that would have been okay if the end of one had not been flattened to the point of being A good pair will not be worth returning for the low price, but I am looking forward to getting new ones next time.
Although this was not a hugely inexpensive product, if you don't get the whole thing, there's really nothing wrong with that.
After I was able to have completed row 400 of the garter stitch scarf, I kept setting it aside. I use bamboo needles a lot, but I was having much trouble with friction between my needles and the cheap yarn I need to keep friction to a minimum since I have RA and my wrists can get injured. In any case, I plan to order more after ordering this. It took me a long time to stitch the scarf but I finally completed it. The metal is slippery and I don't like the sound of metal on metal. So I kind of avoided it as a beginner. Despite this, the sound does not stand out, especially with the TV on or music playing. In addition, my yarn control has improved now that I have gained some experience. For comparison, I have just bought some needles made by Susan Bates and the sound is much more metallic. They also do not glide as easily as yarn on them. Specifically, I'm referring to acrylic and cotton fabrics as they're commonly found. Therefore, I prefer these metal needles when it comes to metal needles and I am sure that eventually I will complete my collection. Yet they are frigid as hell!.
As far as I know, these are my first needles. I learned how to crochet from my Aunt when I was a young girl, but I have always wanted to learn to knit. I would like to talk to you about The A beginner has had no problems with stitches slipping or any other issues by using these Aluminum Knitting Needles. Since they are not too long, they are very easy to handle. This is the second device I use for a very long time. I have been using it for I do have one problem with it though, since it's metal, it's sometimes a little dry(if that is how to describe it) but it doesn't feel slick like it usually does. But overall GREAT PRODUCT! This would be a great book for someone new to knitting like myself.
