As far as knitting needles go, I have no idea what scissors are like, but I am sure In the package, they are packaged in two sizes, so I expect they might be okay if they are small and have a sharp tip.
The best I have ever found don't seem to be available close to me, but these are the best that I have ever seen 00-sized needles can be comfortably held in place with the knitting needles being very soft It is good for needles up to 2, but not so good for needles larger than that. There may be some benefit in using larger needles and possibly even smaller ones, but I have not tried
The answer is yes. In fact, since there are 2 sizes in the package, just about every size is As for myself, I use them now for needles of size 5 myself. I hope you enjoy it!
As of today, I am using them for needles of US size 1. For me, it appears to work fine. It is enough to just use the smaller one instead of the bigger one.

There are 15 pairs of numbers. While I did receive the 30 tips that were advertised, they were broken up into 15 large and 15 small tips. Is it true that they don't pair up the way you see? However, if you're looking for 5 bucks, then they're pretty good. I was down to just a few tips, so more tips will certainly help. Regarding color pairing, only one pair is a mismatch and I actually prefer mismatched because it leaves my brain with a more precise idea of what direction I wish to go in when I pick up knitting again. So I gave it a minus one star, because there might have been an odd man out of every size. I own several needle point protectors, but these are the best of them. They are soft, but thick enough to really cling to the knitting needle points and remain in place until removed. Other options had either been hard or too thin to use for any length of time. They're soft, but thick enough to stay in place for extended periods of time. It is possible to use needles as small as size 0 for knitting.
Thank you for the excellent needle tips! I am extremely pleased with them. My purchases for less money and more tips are much better than those I bought for more money. These tips do not match, but I personally do not care how they do. Basically, I use them just to prevent my stitches from slipping off while working with double point needles. There is a lot of pliableness and great grip with these tips. It isn't necessary to exert much pressure on the needles to keep them in place. The pictures I provided show me using a US size 6 (4mm) DPN tip with the small tips. My experience with these tips is limited to needles 1. 5 Inches long, which are the smallest I have. I would not trust them on a 1,000 (2. It was designed for US 00 (1. 5mm), but I would be comfortable using these on 1. I am 75mm long).

The lucky pack may have just come my way, or I might have just gotten it. I had to tug a bit on them to get them off, which is exactly what I wanted. I think these are good enough in general. As you can see in the pictures, the small size is on a US size 6 needle, while the large size is on a US size 11. But why do I have so many complaints? The pack has been cut into 30, but I only have 29 (you can see how many there are in the photo) and some of them are mismatched. I have no problem with the mismatching. When I do that, I just put one of the tip protectors on and don't need to worry about it. The needles can be fitted to up to U using the number of sizes available. My knowledge of this area is limited. I believe they would fit 13 (they may fit even larger, but I am not sure).
They will not pierce anything, so I bought them for my daughter to use on her knitting needles. It is a good value for their price, and they perform well. Only if you have small children should you put them in a location where they can reach them is a problem. If they swallow them accidentally, they could choke on them.
