Questions & Answers

The only time I have knitted was with needles. Would instructions come with these looms?

There is a booklet, and you can get it from the site "loomahat," but you would get better instructions by going to YouTube. She is very clear and careful with her instructions, and you'll be looming in no time.

In what way are they measured?

It is possible. The most common weight of newborns is six pounds. A baby loom hat may be a bit large if he or she weighs less than five pounds. It'll only be a few weeks before the hats

It was the perfect answer for my needs
5/5

It brings the full five loom set to about $40. I previously had KB 3/8" round looms (80, 72, 64 peg), so I bought this pair to complete my set. In the end, I'm probably going to use this 56 peg more than the 24 peg (baby hats and panels), but I do see how the 24 peg might be useful for swatches of 3/8' gauge for my projects. If everything else is equal, a panel made on a 24 peg loom is about the same size as that made on a KK 12 peg loom. My sincere heartfelt thanks to you - I love the fact that they have embossed the gauge and peg count on the underside. Weavers need to be equipped with this feature. KB seems to lead the way in introducing looms in gauge gauges other than the traditional 5/8" and 3/4" gauges to mass market. The pros are For yarns such as DK (3) and Worsted (4) the small gauge (3/8") provides a very fine knit without the bulk usually associated with
* The peg design is very easy to knit over. The pegs are much superior to those that other people use as crochet hooks. In addition, the plastic is thin enough to make the device light and easy to hold but thick enough to make it The looms are considerably less expensive than custom ones, but they have certain limitations. Those who are new to weaving may find the 3/8" spacing much harder to handle than the 5/8" or 3/4" spacing. A smaller gauge means more pegs to work with for a similar sized project than a larger gauge, which is not a good size for beginners. It takes longer to complete a project if there are more pegs. In addition to being light, the plastic is also strong. It is possible to break pegs if a loom knitter is too tight. A few tips Please accept my thanks in advance A wrap-up and a true-up You can knit stitches more easily than you can You need to wrap your fingers in a small gauge if your fingers are thick. E-coli can be made easier to handle by using a wrapping aid such as a straw I find the wrap to be I have found that a DK or light Worsted yarn (3 or 4) works well. The thicker and bulkier the yarn, the harder it will be to weave. Yarns that are thinner, like sock yarn, may produce a net-like effect- In the same way as stitching.

This loom is far too big for newborn hats, as advertised in the advertisement
3/5

As for the product, I had a hard time reviewing it since it's great quality if you're looking for adult hats or I was a labor and delivery nurse and wanted to make newborn size baby hats to hand out immediately after birth. There is no way I can weave with such a large loom. The result was a baby hat that was WAY TOO SMALL and had to be discarded. Because it is advertised as something that it is not, I gave this product a low score. as a result, individuals like me are wasting money in the sense that this isn't what they were For the correct size I was looking for, I had to buy the right loom and spend more money.

This Loom Is Again Of Excellent Quality! Keeping their high quality and not sacrificing durability, Knitting Board keeps making amazing products with beautiful colors in the plastic, and both looms come in cute colors
5/5

As an added touch, I noticed numbers for each peg and gauge on the bottom of the looms, which I find very useful. I bought the 24 Peg Loom which is so cute. These will work great with bulky yarn, as long as it is size 4 or higher, double or single strand. Besides, I would think the 56 peg would be the perfect size for a small baby sweater, and maybe knit the arms in E-size with the 24 peg Let's wrap up. In addition to knitting stuffies, these are also great sizes for Anyway, I wish you a very happy holiday season and a successful knitting season! A brief update It was interesting to see the results of knitting with these looms. To begin with, I knit leg warmers in E Wrap with Simply Soft yarn 4 using a 56 Peg Loom, but the result was too much fabric and the leg warmers were too big. Quite possibly a new baby sweater or a larger hat for a toddler would have been better for the body of the hat. for the 56 Peg was a normal Stockinette Stitch. The yarn was Simply Soft, I kept both tensions pretty snug to make it fit my normal size 8 feet. The 24 Peg makes tiny socks in Stockinette, just right 56 stitches in Stockinette would also make a very small hat for a newborn. Honestly, I think this loom set is absolutely fantastic and is the right size to make a wide range It can also act as a loom for socks or slippers, in my opinion.

Those little looms are awesome! I just wanted to let you know that the pegs are smaller and closer together than on regular looms
5/5

As long as it fits easily in my hand, I can easily use it to make baby booties. It is small, so it is easier to hold. The pattern I was trying to read was too complicated for me, so I had a lady from our knitting group read it for me It's time to put them in writing. You were on my mind as I was looking at you. I looked at youtube to see how it is done, and there are videos there to see how it is done. My current repertoire consists almost entirely of those, I just enjoy making them so much! of them in multi, pink, and blue colors and gave them to our church so they could give them to new babies at the weddings. I had a great time!.

I have become a fan of KB Looms
5/5

I recommend it. When I was first learning to loom knit, I used looms that could be found in It takes a lot more strength and power to weave with those looms Moreover, the pegs are thicker and more durable They are slightly more than 5/8" apart, and It needed to be a loom with a notch on the side so I could use smaller yarn without having to double them. prefer to have wide range of options whenever I choose a project, so I also chose the 3/8" (this product), & another high-quality option. To my stash, I am adding 5/8". The top of the peg is designed to make it easier for me to work my stitches -- This can, however, make it easier for stitches to fall off (when you don't want them Once I got used to working with these, I had less of this happen. There are also fewer pegs on this item than on the 5/8" looms from KB. Now that I know where my starting peg (peg #1) is, I slipped an O-hook The peg is surrounded by a ring. There is a pamphlet that says this set can be used to make baby hats and other gifts You need boots. Taking up 7" of width (56 pegs), the Teal loom is 6 feet long and 2 feet wide 3" across (24 pegs) is the size of the small loom. The (Teal) loom might be good for babies that are small, preemies, or just small babies in general Dolls that may be the same size as American Dolls. Using the tiny loom and yarn I will try to make booties, and I don't know if I'll be able to make a pair in the future. Try to figure out what size dolls it will fit (maybe those in the Barbie size range). In our 5/8" KB looms, the pegs are larger whereas the 3/8" KB looms have smaller pegs. In addition to being lighter than conventional looms, they also weigh less The KB looms, and other products The ergonomic design makes it very comfortable to hold. * To be perfectly honest I received the same set from a friend on the same day it was delivered. I will return the set I purchased rather than have her return the gift I gave her.
