Designed for sock yarn, these looms are used for weaving socks. It was extremely tight and uncomfortable to knit with baby yarn and sport weight yarn on these looms.

With this oval plastic version, you will be able to do things faster and easier. The socks I finished did not impress me in any way These are a snug fit for a size 9, and you can see how well they fit with the women's (I just bought another pair in the men's size in order to see if the fit is too loose for me. I have no idea what the reviews meant by saying that these looms made huge socks. There was a small burr on the tip of a few of the pegs that would catch the yarn that's my only complaint (not enough to subtract a star for). The problem is easy to fix with a fine nail file. At first, it was a minor annoyance, but it eventually got better.
In a nutshell, Sometimes, I feel as if one of the pegs is going to break in half because the plastic is so soft. Although I'm in love with the pattern created by this loom.
I was working on the cuff when my orange loom broke near one of the ends. It wasn't even the heels or toes I had yet to tackle. There was just a problem. The pegs always break when I have tried to use Gorilla Glue. The idea of being a newbie doesn't appeal to me. The socks I made were woven on a loom. The loom I used did allow me to make a pair. Nevertheless, it seems to have no way of handling anything more than that.
The adjustable side of that one was awkward to handle, since a women's sock size is not among the options. The shape of that one is ideal for a kitchener cast-on, and it is very light and easy to wear. It's not that pegs are cheap or worry that they will break, but rather that they have a nice feel to them. The flex is beneficial to me because I knit tight. I have trouble getting my fingers around the pegs when I use the yarn I'm using, but I'm getting used to it. Make sure you use the tool provided, not the one with the ergonomic handle. It is better to use the sharper point for these smaller.
There is nothing to be gained from the traditional recatangle. It didn't come with a set of pegs, so I had to replace it with ones from purple loom. It could not fit anyone in sizes 7 or smaller. I am a size 9 women's shoe orange fits comfortably but not for anyone smaller than that. As a result of the stretched shape, there is no way to secure the toe in the traditional manner. I say, however. It is Friday, December 15 as I write this review. Delivery of the product occurred on December 1. Two scarves are currently being sewn on both looms. During the last two weeks, I have used them a good deal. My only reason for writing the review today is that one of the pegs on the purple loom broke off, prompting me to give it a lower than stellar review. There are no textiles loaded in this side of the loom, so I have no idea how it happened. am positive the peg was there yesterday since I just finished up a project that utilized all of The pegs on the loom are made of plastic and are a finer gauge than some other looms, so I was concerned they might break when I received them. I can still weave scarves with the looms as I am able to continue to do so. Knittingboard. com products are highly recommended in general, but it would have been nice to have had more time to consider this item before purchasing. The company does have another sock loom with metal pegs that I will most likely order in the coming It would have been better if I'd ordered it earlier- Wood and metal make up the item.
It's an interesting experience to work with this loom. The loom I bought adds to the collection of looms I already have, and I like it just as much as any other. It was a great deal and the delivery was quick. The product I received was exactly as described and I'm extremely pleased with it.
I like these a lot! They've made a number of pairs of socks for me.
