For a new beginner, the kit is great, but it is not easy to use

As I type, I am halfway through the scarf I am making with this kit. Even though I took a two hour knitting course in person (one year ago), I still had to watch several YouTube videos to understand how to properly add a new color, weave in ends, and I expect I will have to do that too when I'm ready to bind off. It might be that I'm much better at reading knitting instructions when I'm visual. It is ideal for a beginner as the needles are nice and the yarn is comfortable. It's okay to ask for help if you need it, there are available resources out there!.

My favorite knitting kit is Knit Picks! A Knit Picks kit is an excellent purchase whether you are a beginner or an advanced knitter! These kits are excellent for me, since I'm about an intermediate knitter, and I am always tempted by the yarns and needles included in the kits

I had never tried Caspian birch needles before and I am in love with I used the straight needles from the kit so much that I bought the interchangeable circular needle set. I'm loving knitting with this yarn, and it doesn't warp at all when it stretches. This kit comes with very well written patterns that include crisp photos for every step of the project, which is perfect for both beginners and knitters who want to refresh their skills. I plan to purchase the kit for one of my daughters, who is learning to knit. We are so grateful for these beautiful kits as well as all of your other terrific products from Knit Picks!.

There are quite a few videos on YouTube to assist with the first few steps because the directions are quite complicated. Several videos pointed out that thicker yarn would be easier for beginners to handle considering the ease of working with it.

For someone just starting out in knitting, this is a fantastic product. The only thing I wanted was knitting needles. I searched high and low for that. There is yarn and instructions for it. I found exactly what I was looking for here. In the instruction booklet, each step is explained in detail, with pictures. This is a great book. I highly recommend it.

It was a gift I got for a friend, and she has enjoyed it so much that she has already knit several scarves and two blankets. Introducing someone to a new hobby is the best way to introduce them to it.

Beginners shouldn't use these needles because they are too long and skinny

This kit is nice. The needles are very attractive and the thread is soft. My only issue is that the needles are too long and skinny for beginner kits. My thread kept falling off because the needles were too slick, and it took a long time to learn how to manipulate thread and needles at the same time. Because I constantly have to start over, I haven't been able to complete the project. It will be difficult to stitch with thin needles. I will try again with thick.

You should not attempt it as a beginner

Because the needles are so small and the thread so thin, this kit is NOT suitable The videos are no good either, and the website is really hard to work with. There were SO MUCH BETTER HOOK & THread tutorials and advice on YouTube and all recommended much bigger needles for these projects.
