On Amazon, I noticed that all of the 14-piece sets have the 2. 25,2. 75,3. 25 as well as the number three Hooks with a diameter of 75 mm. It's possible you placed your order while the new sets were being installed. So, yes, you did receive a different kit; based on what I've seen, it appears to be their latest.
Somewhere where labor is inexpensive
I'm not sure I grasped the nature of your query. It's . What's a quarter-inch? Each hook is slightly larger than the one before it, allowing you to make larger stitches and work with bulkier yarns.
All hooks have a 4-inch rubber part. The overall length varies between 5 and 15 minutes. On the small hook, 3/4 inch to 6 inch; on the large hook, 3/4 inch to 6 inch

I hadn't crocheted in 20 years, and my arthritic hands made my old skinny hooks useless! In just six weeks, I made five Christmas afghans for my grandchildren using these hooks!.
I knew they weren't worth the money the minute I took them out and crocheted with them for 30 seconds. I sent them back right away. On these hooks, the yarn slides around a lot. I like the ergonomics of these, but I wouldn't waste my time with them otherwise. Susan Bates hooks (with an ergonomic grip) are a low-cost option, while Clover is a higher-cost option. These would be better if they were made of bamboo or wood. These are truly appalling.
The product was exactly as described. It's very easy to operate. While the sizes are printed in black on each hook, the reverse side is "engraved," so I don't have to worry about the ink rubbing off due to frequent use. For the price I paid, this is an excellent kit.
Because I'm used to knitting with two needles, I'm learning how to crochet with just one needle, which is more difficult for me than doing nothing. However, these metal hooks are far superior to the plastic crochet needles that my mother had purchased for me, with which I was unable to work. So, thank you so much for the handle as well as the crochet hook. It has made my life a lot easier. Thank you very much.
I've been crocheting for a long time, but this is the first time I've used a hook like this. I figured I'd give them a try because the price was right and they had good reviews on Amazon as well as in my crochet group. They're fantastic, and I'm not sure I'll ever use a traditional hook again. The yarn needles and markers, as well as all the other little extras that come with this set, are simply icing on the cake! I'm going to go out and buy a set for my mother as a present.
96! The hooks are well-made and look and feel exactly like the name-brand hooks I purchased. The finish work isn't quite as smooth, but it doesn't catch the yarn or alter the appearance of the crochet stitches in any way! The hooks are labeled in both the US alphabet and the metric system, making it simple to choose the correct hook! All of the other accessories that come with it, such as yarn needles and a counter, are fun to have and would cost a lot of money if you bought them all separately. Overall, a great starter kit or a nice replacement kit, such as the ergonomic, comfort grip hooks that I purchased to replace my old family hand-me-downs. Sorry, great Grandma, I loved using your hooks, but the new stuff makes the project run more smoothly and is easier on the hands! So far, I've used a variety of hook sizes and the finished product is fitting perfectly!.
I haven't used these yet because I just received them, but I'll be using them soon for a project. I'm an intermediate crocheter who has used the same two Susan Bates hooks for over a decade. br>So far, I'm very pleased with this set; I received everything that was advertised, as well as an extra stitch marker. There were some color variations from the product photo, the stitch markers received were not the exact colors pictured, and two of the hooks were colored differently. I also used my jewelry calipers to double-check the sizing on all of the hooks, and they're all correct; the hooks themselves could be a little more polished, but they're not at all rough. Small holes are drilled into the bottom of the hooks, and the full hook can be seen inside the handle, so even if the handles come off, I'll still have a full hook. The sizes are written in ink on the front, which will fade over time, but they are also imprinted on the back. Although the handles appear to be made of a type of plastic that may become sticky over time, this can easily be remedied with masking or painters tape. br>The tapestry needles are heavy and nice, and the tube in which they come closes tightly enough that I don't have to worry about them spilling out. I was using safety pins and paper clips before I discovered the stitch markers. The tape measure appears to be a little flimsy, but I doubt I'll use it very often, and the stitch counter was an added bonus. I had no idea what it was in the picture, and I'd never used one before, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go. The bag in which it all comes is quite nice. The fabric is a little plastic-y, but it's thick and the zipper is very functional. br>Overall, these are really good hooks for the price. I would have paid $14 just for the large sizes I need, but with everything else included, this would be a great set to get even if you just want to experiment with a different handle style or material.
For the number of hooks and sizes available, I believe this is a good deal. These, on the other hand, have an excessively large handle that makes crocheting difficult. br>I've used ergonomic hooks with a similar rubber handle in the past, but these aren't tapered properly, making them difficult to use. When I try to use these, my hand cramps up, so I'm only using the other one I bought separately at the craft store (for a lot more money). br>I attempted to give a few to my sister, who has agreed to try them out. I'm not going to use these unless I'm in desperate need of a crochet hook and can't find one in person with a coupon. These hooks are not something I would recommend.
