Trying to find something similar in store didn't work, but I was able to locate Reading reviews, I do not agree with fallen Needles down from the case. Probably people should stick to using the real ones instead of all those useless metal ones. The reason I prefer bamboo is because it's light and comfortable for my hands, as well as easy to knit. As a result, I am glad I purchased this case. I like the color and the fact that there are lots of spaces for all my stuff inside. Now all the information is at your fingertips! The idea appeals to me. The goal of buying this product was to replace my 15-year old plastic grocery bag and worn out cardboard sleeves that were previously holding my circular needles, straight needles, and double-point This zipper pocket is a very good option for securing embroidery needle gauges and needle sizing tools. Despite its size, the flap can accommodate my longest straight needles (the 16" long ones) without a problem. It is mostly a complaint that my circulars don't all have their own square pockets like some other caddies do, but I have more DPNs than circulars and I don't need many of them. Overall, I find this an excellent way to keep my needles organized. In addition, I wish the middle row of pockets would be shorter so that DPNs would not sink too far into them, as well as more of them so that I could keep different sizes or DPNs separate if necessary. Although I am sure that this is not meant to hold every needle, it still might be convenient for some. Except for that, it's an excellent tool for organizing information.

These are not for the jumbo sizes. Eight of the slots on this holder are very narrow, so it's not big enough to hold your fingers. I think they would work for knitting needles and probably for plain metal crochet hooks as well, but I like the Susan Bates handles with bamboo hooks, and most of the slots would I cannot fit my hooks all the way down in the back row of slots if I do squeeze them in (also if I can cram it in I can't fit my larger hooks down in the back row). Even though I have duplicates of many hook sizes, I would probably be able to use every other slot if I didn't have so many hooks. Only by pulling out the stitches on every other row of the first 8 slots can I make this work. The case does what I need. I've been looking for a case that works for me for a long time, and since this is a very attractive, sturdy, and well made product I think I'll keep it. Because of the fact that I had to modify it to make it work for me, and the description did not indicate the width of the slots, I can only give it 4 stars. I think you will really enjoy this product if you have thinner (or less) hooks or knitting needles.

Perfect. I'll be able to fit my 8 inch DPNs in the longer pockets, and my 9 inch circulars can also fit. There is just enough room for five 2s in the bottom leftmost pocket, but it is very narrow. There is a 5mm difference in thickness. The stitching from the first of the smallest pockets was removed, so I now have a wide and short section for storing scissors, rulers, gauges, and larger darning needles. The overall price is a bargain compared to the custom needle rolls on Etsy and the needle roll appears to be sturdy. The fabric is available in many storage options, which I like. I prefer it to be more gray than blue, I find it to be very appealing.
