In my quest to find a really large case that could contain all the crochet hooks I had, I constantly searched for a really large hook box. I found this bunch of hooks after I gave up looking for them and decided to organize them by type. This also makes me excited about plastic-free bags, and I loved the designs on these (I ordered two, one with elephants and one with a bohemian vibe). Their looks are amazing, and they are also very durable. These hook bags fold into thirds rather than into fourths as this one does. Only one set of these hook bags is similar, made by Damero. It seems to be a great storage system for my various hooks. I bought an identical pair of those and with all four, have fairly comprehensive storage. The Teamoy and Damero clothes appear to be almost identical in construction and fabrics. Therefore, I assume they are made by I even have a set of Addy Swings in one of them, which I found to be a little tricky to insert, but they worked. All of my crochet supplies have plenty of room in the little storage pouches. Despite the fine mesh of the pockets, I was still able to thread darning needles and stitch holders through them, and the pockets themselves held small thread scissors and a tape measure with plenty of room to close them.
The bag is cute and compact. The pros are all pockets are mesh (if you want to use needles and stitch counters on these pockets, you'll have to buy them separately). There is one thing I find to be frustrating the slots for the ergonomic hooks fit cheap generic hooks fine, but they have to be pushed really hard to fit higher quality hooks available at Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Despite the fact that I use them a lot, they aren't holding up The hook slot on one side of the sleeve is rounded, which means the hook doesn't hold firmly The tip sticks out at an angle from the pouch because the tip was forced to stick out from the pouch.
I think it'll be fine if I force hooks into it, but I doubt it'll hold very well if I force it into the elastic.
I am not reviewing a case being used for crochet hooks, so I cannot comment on whether it meets the needs of an average end user. In re- This system is working well for its intended purpose. It does not come naturally to me to be so In order to use an inexpensive binder, I needed an affordable analog backup planner The storage space was sufficient, but it could be bigger. Currently, it is used as an agenda for my crochet hooks. As it has been rolled out, a small binder can be seen on the far right, its spine and back cover both attached with a As a result, the mesh pockets are at the right and the binder at the left. (The sticky glue tore the big pocket from my pants. There is too much space on the back of the binder. The new binder will only have the spine glued and leave the rest of it unglued. A little further to the left are the last two The one in which I keep my tape measure (because you never know) and the other in which I keep my business cards. Last but not least, my main pens are at the far left in elastic loops. It's tough to fit a tube lip gloss in, either, since it has such a small opening A far too large size. In a business meeting, I lost the "sturdy rope" since I tied it after removing a business card However, nothing fell out, so I was able to sew it that same Considering I was just doing an experiment, my money was well spent.
As a customer, my only recommendation would be to increase the size of the hook/needle slots, as I have to use ergonomic hooks that do not fit into the slots easily. Furthermore, if you get another one, get one with a different pattern so you will know which one you need to enter. I invariably open the wrong one when I have two. There aren't enough words to describe this product it keeps everything organized, close at hand, and easy to find. It doesn't take up too much space on my table. There is a chance that I will get a third. The hard case is too bulky for storing a small set of tools I have, and I can see it being used for a small set of tools I have. To make things easier, I could place it in my side table next to my wife, so she won't lose her little hands (and I would be out of her way).
All my crochet supplies fit nicely inside this case and it is very handy to have. The pockets make it easy to organize my hooks, and the flaps atop the hook pockets keep everything neatly in place. The pockets are great for storing stitch markers, tapestry needles, scissors, measuring tape, safety eyes, and thimbles. When I wear it, I receive compliments wherever I go, and I can fit it comfortably in my purse or crochet bag Every time I wear it, people ask me about.
I bought it because I wanted a more vintage look for my hook case than some of the other options available. I had to knock off one star due to it being too tight to fit my Ergo hooks into the elastic & the material is gorgeous however In the case of the rolled up case, I cannot use one elastic since the hook would not be covered when it is It appears that the flap has been forced over by the seam edge of the case. It worked, but I had to force the hooks in. I didn't like the way they looked before, but at least they are secure now. It would still be a good choice, but the elastic is a little too small for ergo hooks. As shown in the product photos, the elastic fits just fine.
This is what I use for my crochet hooks and I like it very much. It's a good thing the mesh of these pockets is really fine because I can keep small safety pins in there without worrying they'll fall The hooks are easy to find, and I like being able to browse quickly- The hook on my pencil case was hidden by a pencil case before, so I had to search all around for it. Rubber bands would be much easier to use if they were a little bit larger This case fits neatly into my crochet bag. I like the way it folds up and lays flat. The hooks seem tight so far, but I hope they can stretch out with use. It's super charming how the animal design has come out!.
The adjustable bands make it so I can fit even my larger crochet hooks comfortable, and my ergonomic chrochet hooks are securely held. With space left over, the zippered pockets are strong and are big enough to hold all of my crochet accessories (including my pom pom makers). I searched for such a long time to find a case that arranged everything logically. Put an end to digging around looking It is an excellent case and I would purchase it.
