It was important that I had a container for my small needles that would protect them, have them all in one place, and could fit into a knitting bag without taking up too much space and prevent my socks needle collection from being lost or misplaced. When I saw this and I saw that I did not have to go through the process of sewing myself a case, I ordered it immediately. In grey, it is the perfect color for me. Now that I have a matching set of fabric to match my larger knitting case where I store all my Knit Picks straights and my full size interchangeables, I will look great while knitting. In here, there is plenty of room for everything, and I mean plenty. With the zippered sections in the back, I can organize index cards as well as carry around my go-to items I can store all my socks knitting supplies such as my sock patterns, pen, tiny notepad, socks stitch markers, mini scissors and everything else I need when I am making socks, without running out of space! I bet I can fit a ton more things in here since it is soft yet durable. It's not too big and not too bulky, but because it is so soft, I'm sure I can put a lot more things inside it. It won't take up too much room in my suitcase, so it will be wonderful for when I travel. It's awesome that the pockets can be used to store more than one set of needles if my socks needle collection grows. Moreover, I like the fact that nothing falls out of it, that everything is safe, and that it's all there when I need it when I need Since I no longer have to search through the bottom of my notions bag when I make socks, I can put my hands in the air. There are 29 of them (sizes 00 through 10) and they all fit with plenty of My pockets can hold a few of the same size and I can put them in the same place. I like how some pockets are "shorter" than others, so that needles with 16 inch and 20 inch cables can be held there. Initially there were just three pockets able to accommodate the cable lengths of 24" and longer, which have longer points than the 16" and 20" cables. - Thanks so much - You've done a great job! Your time and effort are worth it! I am amazed. Since 2010, my knitting has been done primarily with circulars, which I have done for the past two years. As a result, they were always tangled in my knitting basket as I looped them over the handles of picnic baskets or other handles. My birthday money allowed me to purchase it, and I don't know what else to say. Since purchasing a specialty knitting organizer was so expensive, and I thought it was frivolous, I had put it off. Currently, I'm looking to buy two more of these bags (one for my straight needles, and another for my overall knitting case). Instead of relying on whatever I could find around the house, it was great to find something especially made for knitting. The luxury of knitting with a computer is actually convenient. It's now easier to find my needles, because I know where they are all. For my 16" needles, the smaller pockets worked just fine. I guess this will be a grape-flavored one. Purple is the color I got. There are all my circular needles stored in this zippered tote, all the glass needles and wooden needles I've made. This was not a happy situation for me, as I had to pull them out of a gallon-sized ziplock, which was very difficult, especially when trying to get one out of There is nothing more neat and tidy than this little fellow. It is the perfect case for my needs as it houses needles and small accessories. Socks, shawls, hats, gloves, and scarves are the items I knit most often, so I do not own many large or variety of needles. It was just what I was looking for. I really like how it turned out. In the end, I elected to go with the gray bag with black zipper. The cylindrical space is large enough to hold several circular needles if you don't mind storing multiples of them As well as for travel, I highly recommend.
