Questions & Answers

Do you have a 36" x 54" sheet?

There are 54 inches of width and 36 inches of length in 1 yard.

What metrics are used to measure this? Does one unit of issue have a width and length of 55 by 36 inches?

There was one piece in my order that was approximately ten inches in length There is a specific length that I do not remember, but it is 12 feet. In fact, it came as a single continuous roll 551/2 inches wide by the entire length

Do you know if it is waterproof? If any water seeps through, how long will it last?

There's no need to worry about water getting inside. The bimini on the sailboat is what I used it for.

What is the backing for the project? want to apply Contact Cement to the backing to attach vinyl to wood. Does this backing lend itself to this application?

Despite being mildly rough, its surface is still quite dense. This seems to be a good solution. As if it were a thread. This may be of some help to you.

Folding this is not a good idea
3/5

My dining room chair upholstery will be made from this product. In general, I'm pleased with the product, but, as many other reviewers have noted, the material is disposed of in a rather unfortunate manner. Despite months of use, most of the creases on the seats are barely visible due to the tight application of the vinyl. In some areas, as shown in photos, the black vinyl is cracked down to white in the creases, which is a very disappointing thing. For the sake of preventing damage to the surface, it is best to ship this rolled.

Folded and permanently creased, with a distorted image of the ship
3/5

Folded up in a plastic mailer bag, this is shipped to you. I have tried everything but I haven't been able to get rid of Printed label and repackaged the item, I drove to the post office and waited in line to return, but it was a waste of time and effort.

It is worth the money
5/5

Based on reading reviews about the product and in writing my own, I think it is very important to take into account the price of this fabric, and to have realistic expectations of what they will receive. If you want a fabric that is both waterproof and fade-resistant and will last for more than ten years, then Sunbrella Seamark is for you. This is undoubtedly some of the best fabric on the market. You will have to pay $41 for it. It has the same quality, for less than $9 per yard. By comparison, this is 1/5 the price. I live in Alaska, and ordered 2 yards of this product to be shipped to me via UPS two day air via Amazon Prime. The shipping cost exceeded the cost of the product. This meant that I was free to use the product. It's a pleasure to do business with you! It came on a roll so there were no seams, and the fabric was in perfect condition. Vinyl of this type has a certain amount of stretch, and it is marine-grade. It's pretty much a design element that's built into every vinyl. Materials made of this material are waterproof. It is undeniable that if it's exposed to the sun for five years, it will completely fade. In any case, I would be surprised if it did not. In order to protect it from UV, you can put some Aerospace 303 UV protection on it, but this fabric will cost you nine dollars a yard. From what I've seen, it represents outstanding value for the price, and I would certainly buy it again if the deal were to come up again. Sunbrella fabrics make excellent choices for the next 10 years. There are plenty of better fabrics out there, but not at this price point. It represents an outstanding value for the price. If you want something that will last for 10 years, then buy Sunbrella. There are a lot of colors to choose from. The rest of the time, though, I think we should salute this product for what it is, and what a great value it offers.

It is of great quality

You will need to handle material that is kinked. I bought two yards to put a seat back on my UTV. There were some rips on the cushion, but it was still in good condition. Luckily, there was enough material here to do the job twice. I am not a professional, so I assumed the first attempt would go well. As sturdy as the original cover, it appeared to be this material. Material was enclosed in a bubble envelope and received folded. As soon as I took the materials out, I unfolded them. As a result of rolling the fabric and putting it somewhere warm, I was able to remove the creases. After I had taken it out and rearranged everything, I put it back in again As the ball rolled, it appeared to go the opposite way. As I planned to complete the work several days ahead of time, this was done. Sweep the outdoor area carefully to remove dirt and staples once the old cover has been removed. We unrolled the new material and found that there were almost no kinks. My confidence was that the remaining kinks would disappear once there was enough stretch. I had a flat cushion on my seat. At the middle, there is a raised area. My research led me to discover that it was possible to stretch the material so that it stayed tight against It is important to get a smooth, wrinkle-free complexion The sides should be stapled about 4" from each corner so that the corners are free. A staple should be placed in the midsection Staple in the center of the corner, then pull the corner to the point The staple for the last side of the picture is halfway between that and the first. As you work your way between staples, keep pulling midpoints of the cushion until all wrinkles have been pulled to the bottom where they will not To get it right, you may have to remove and retry a few staples. On my first attempt, I got a great result, so I have enough material to replace it.

This is a great product
5/5

In the end, $150 of the repair cost was incurred at a local upholstery shop after our dog chewed up the seat of our Polaris Ranger. In the end, we repaired the device ourselves, by finding the materials and repairing Our search was focused on marine vinyl, as that was what the repair shop used. Despite how inexpensive the fabric is, we were surprised at how high quality it is. The cushion we purchased came in two yards, and we purchased a long piece of upholstery foam as well. The Marine Vinyl packaging had been folded for shipping, but ours did not stick together. I had read other reviews that stated that it was stuck together due to the folding. There were no tears at the creases when it was unfolded and it was in perfect condition. I was very happy with its condition. After there was a bit of cutting and sewing, we got the right size for our seats but the fabric went through my sewing machine without a problem. Our team stapled the fabric to the foam placed on the seat frame after placing the fabric over the foam. Although there is a slight give to the fabric, it is not drastically so. We were pleased with the way the seat looked after completion. All in all, this stuff looks good. This would definitely be a good choice for this type of project. As a result, I am very satisfied. I absolutely love this product and it's so.

It's a good idea to save By any stretch of the imagination, this is thin, cheap vinyl and is far from marine grade! I have worked in the leather interior business for over twenty years, so I am very Unlike outdoor vinyl, marine grade vinyl is much thicker and much stronger, as it will withstand prolonged exposure to As far as I could tell, the product didn't meet marine standards
3/5

The paper was thin and my staples tore right through it when I tried fastening It is not a product I recommend or would ever buy There is a strong likelihood that the backing will separate from the vinyl fairly quickly since it is so cheap! It is rare for me to write bad reviews, however, after reading the great reviews, I felt that my review might help someone avoid my mistake. The price I paid was worth it, I guess. Because you never know when you will get lucky, I sure was hoping to save a dollar! There are times when you receive junk mail.

It is an excellent product with excellent materials

I like the way the top looks and the way the backing looks. Making motorcycle seats with it was my job. I'm very happy with the way the stretch was and the seating looks Here is a photo of the back half which has been replaced, but the front half still needs to be finished.
