In fact, yes In the progress screen, there is a very specific set of buttons which allows you to skip forwards (or backwards) in 1,10, and 100 stitch increments. With the machines' needle and hoop, you do not need to guess as the machine will fully retrace or fast forward in real time. If the hoop slips or the thread breaks, the machine will go back to where the error occurred.

My intention was to love this machine. The reviews were awesome, the learning curve is easy, and the pictures from other users were stunning, but one problem turned me off. Like the picture shows, my embroidery machine embroiders like that. It has been my pleasure to contact Brother many, many times for assistance. The only response I get is a recommendation to read the manual or the online help Get help from the command line. I have already done that, more than once, but they continue to send me the same "support" response. As a result, don't expect much support from Brother if you run into a problem. If it's a simple fix and covered in the manual, then you'll be fine, if not - do not expect much. There is no one to help you.
I have just begun learning embroidery and after a lot of exploring on You Tube, blogs, and forums, I have found the Brother PE800 to be a very helpful machine. In my experience, the PE770 is a very good machine, but it is very difficult to see the images on the screen It is shown on a You are able to actually see what you are embroidering, thanks to the clear and easy-to-use color screen on the PE800. It is still on my to-do list to learn more about the machine, but I will share some of the features I enjoy. PE800 allows you to add and edit multiple designs and fonts, place letters in an arc and on two lines and drag and drop embroidery patterns. You can also move your pattern or edit its position using a touch screen. PE800 comes with a color palette that lets you change the colors of individual threads on the With 2 bright LED lights, two bright LED lighting effects surround the needle and the work area. A 90 weight bobbin thread is used on the bobbin To save time, I ordered a box of pre wound bobbins and much prefer to use them than wind By using good quality upper thread, the right bobbin thread weight, and stabilizing your material properly, you will be able to enjoy operating this machine quite a bit. Keep your manual nearby and go over it step by step before using it. Having so many choices of patterns out there makes it fun and so versatile. It is easy to use the USB flash drive port of the PE800 to insert any embroidery patterns purchased from online. It takes the same amount of time to complete both the PE770 and PE800. Due to all the hoops I had to jump through for the PE770, this was a big plus for me.
I have edited It has been an interesting day! I learned a lot! In summary, reading the manual will greatly help in improving the nit picks I made in my review. Changing bobbins in between colors is possible (you need to unplug the hoop, but do not restart, just hit the arrow button then the button marked needle to move the needle to a safe position before changing). That would also be the standby phase I was seeking. Below are a few bonuses I have discovered A missed call will result in The thread breaks- (the fabric slips or a knot forms It has happened more than once) there are a series of buttons to press - instead of starting over do the series of buttons - If you didn't know that it was actually done - There are sticks that rewind or fast forward the amount of time since you last hit the original (at increments of 1, 10, or 100). In this case, however, you don't have to be precise. The crosshairs will follow the buttons so that you will know when you're back at the location of the incident. There are still two nitpicks I would like to mention 1) I wish I could modify the design so that there are more than 6 to 12 patterns at once in the internal memory of the machine, or a way to attach one without losing my only USB port 2) Even altering the design's multi-purpose functionality would help. A switch from multiple colors to a single color will have no effect on In the event that you just want one color on all the phases, then you have to progress the machine as if you had more than one color (even changing the colors in the machine won't change this). You won't be able to use metal bobbins during a pattern because the machine will only alert you when your bobbin needs to be changed when you're using If the machine cannot properly scan a metal bobbin (I assume), it will continue to embroider without thread in the bobbin, and eventually it will
I am leaving my older review as it is, without alteration. The owner of the Pe800 My best friend is going to receive a baby quilt, so I bought this to help her embroider it. Based on my research and the amount of embroidery I plan on doing, I found this machine to be the most suitable for me. purchased the extra stabilizers and hoops, which are very helpful (as well as embroidery scissors. It would also be a good idea to purchase In my experience as an only person who has done this manually, certain of the manual instructions don't seem helpful Getting used to the settings is confusing at first (it's my first Brother machine), and it takes a bit of time to understand them. It is nitrated Picture 1) I didn't know the bobbin couldn't be changed while the pattern was done (trying to replace it = starting over), and picture 2) I'm unable to figure out how to move the hoop. I have gotten close to bending my needle twice while trying to tighten the lock ring/ relink the arm without telling the machine that I'm disconnecting the arm, first, while I was attempting to disconnect the arm, then while relinking it Thread the needle (do not thread with the needle directly under it). A five star bonus is rewarded- As a result, the needle is threaded automatically! It seems like you loop the thread through other parts of the machine and pull a leaver--I'm not sure how it does that A thread is created instantly! It is still possible for you to do this yourself, but why would you do that? (3, Nit Pic. In order for the needle to work, it must be placed in a specific spot. Otherwise, the leaver will not fully depress). I am sure that it will still be a five star machine as soon as it has figured out everything. Pebble Creek Coop (or Pebble Creek EC).
It has been SO much fun learning to use this machine, and I am so glad that I have found embroidery to be so enjoyable! Initially, I was intimidated by the box. I let it sit in the box for several days after it arrived. Next, recycling day arrived, so I opened the box and set up the machine, which took half an hour. for a few more days and finally decided to bite the bullet. Initially I was afraid it would be difficult to use, but it was extremely simple. It is so intuitive that even someone like me who is totally new to it can use it almost The more I learn, the more excited I am for what is to come. Memory bears are so nice to make for hospice families, and I love that I am able to embroider a loved one's name on the bear and to add a symbol that is This is so much more personal and would be a lot of fun for me. It would have been better if I had bought it.
