If you put the presser foot DOWN, it will lock the tension discs inside the machine and prevent the thread from reaching the needle. On the other hand, if you keep it UP, the thread will run freely through your machine. To allow the thread to move freely during automatic threading, you must allow it to move freely Here's the sequence of threads. Additionally, the needle should be at its highest position at all times. The needle icon will appear if it is present on your machine. You should see the needle, which should automatically move downwards and if you press it again it should rise, which will put it back in its optimal You can turn the wheel along the right if you do not have this feature. If your needle threader is not operating, wait until the needle reaches its zenith (highest point). To get it right, you may have to fiddle with the wheel a bit. As long as the threader is in good condition, it should thread smoothly. When all else fails, take it to an embroidery or sewing machine dealer who specializes in Brother equipment. The machines talk. At least, you need to get some schooling for your machine if it needs to be fixed or you want to have it fixed. Taking a few lessons is definitely a good idea if they have them! If you are on Facebook, you might want to join some embroidery and sewing groups The people who have been in this hobby for a long time have taught me so much. The group Machine Embroidery Enthusiasts has two subgroups, that is Machine Embroidery Help and a Brother embroidery group as well. In addition to my Babylock, I also belong to the Flourish and Aventura machine groups, as the Babylock is basically the same thing as a Brother, but without the Disney association. The baby lock and brother products are made at the same manufacturing plant in Japan, which helps to explain their similar features and designs. I wish you a very happy stitching day! I personally am always using 90/14 needles with 40 wt thread, regardless of the thread size. This has been the best of luck for me
The foot controller is not present.
It must be a program that converts them, because I use the Eg program to do it

Although it is easy to use, and the designs are really nice, it fails to advise that you must purchase bobbin thread that costs sixty dollars extra, even though I bought thread and stabilizer as recommended below. It does not tell you that you will have to purchase super expensive software so that you can write your own code. The machine is really nice and I like it a great deal, but not for the number of extras I had to get. I am new to machine embroidery, and I really like it.
As this is my first time using machine embroidery, I found the Brother PE550 to be very easy to use, and it was incredibly user-friendly. from the web, changed the colors on files, and made professional looking gifts with my digital art program that I have had for just Applique was also part of my use of it. My favorite feature of the touchscreen is its It is still a work in progress for me to learn about stabilizers and adjusting for different types of fabrics, but the machine itself seems to be functioning well I would only tell you to be warned that once you start exploring the easy to use and how many cool things you can create, you will want to do bigger projects than what a 4x4 can handle. Currently, I don't know how to hooping more than once to make a bigger project, but I know that's something I will be able to do Anyone new to this machine should give it a try!.
I agree with you completely This great new hobby does not require you to spend thousands of dollars. What I would suggest is that if you can squeeze every penny out of it, you should. Make sure you get one that has There was no doubt it was worth the time and effort. What's going to happen with the other one? It is not an option for me. However, those familiar with it had told me the buying one in this price range would be regrettable - but I am still glad I bought one. Without a doubt! As a result If you decide to buy it, here are the steps I hope you have a great time In the case that you can afford it, you should get the larger machine and the larger hoop and throat area. You won't be sorry.
The machine does not allow me to work more than one stitch at a time. The warning message keeps coming up saying the safety device has been activated. Due to the fact that it has not been working AT ALL for some time, I find this machine very difficult to use. The thread was Embroidex thread, and at first I thought I might have ordered the wrong thread. It was suggested in several reviews that the machine is very particular about the thread you use. This is what most likely caused my order for Brother thread. This might be too late to return because there is no return option on the Amazon site. It has been 35 days since I am receiving the product and I have not been able to use it. A very dissatisfied customer.
Crafting has been my lifelong passion since I was 5 and I have used a variety of sewing machines since then. I've never been so frustrated with a sewing or embroidery machine. It displays error messages constantly, freezes after its first single use, and its user interface is about as complete as the experience it would be to learn to fly through the air Your money is not worth it.
In contrast with my previous machine, this one is equipped with a USB port, so I can easily download patterns, as opposed to my first machine, which required software/embroidery boxes and cards to download patterns. The machine is not large, but I have found that it is appropriate for my needs when I am sewing tea towels, pencil toppers, and other smaller I know you will enjoy it.
Eventually I figured it out, but it took me a while.
A beginner will find this product easy to use, and within its box, I found all I need to get started.
