There is a very poor quality to these. My other set has never done this in the 20 years that I have owned it. These tools have only been in use for less than a month and are falling apart. They are the worst jewelers tools ever manufactured! The stars are not available!.

I find it to be absolutely terrible. I got these to use while traveling and tried them out for a little while. Trying to cut a piece of regular 20 gauge copper wire four times wasn't enough for the cutters to cut the wire. I had to throw away my cutters because it didn't cut it well and made them useless. I have included a picture which shows how they were ruined. My cutters were severely damaged by them, since they are soft. Unless you plan to use it, I would not recommend it.

I've added another set to my collection. My first set is still in use, but I wanted to replace the "others" I bought but didn't like as much. These gloves are just right for my hands, both in terms of balance and size. They are strong enough to not hurt my hands even though I have arthritis.

Your money will not be wasted. I would give it a rating of one star less if I could. As a replacement for the defective tools, I ordered a new set which is even more inferior than the first. These pliers are not flat nor smooth on the face and have burrs on the edges. It is impossible for the clippers to make complete contact and therefore the meat won't be cut. There is a curved surface instead of a flat surface on the nylon nose pliers. Rust can be found in the hinge joint of some tools, and chunks of metal can be found missing from I called the company and they couldn't help me and told me to go to Amazon instead. However, when I was on the phone, the woman recognized what I was calling about even before I explained it to her. There is no attempt being made to improve the quality, and this is clearly a known issue. This is a good buy if you need small tools but you will not necessarily need them for highly intricate or delicate work. Instead of this junk, spend more money and get quality.
