I was overjoyed until I realized it was filthy and included staplers. That is to say, someone returned this one and simply made it "new" Oh, sure, I'll just staple it and she won't notice. One of them doesn't even close properly and is chipped, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or return it because I really needed it. Spend your money elsewhere because you won't get brand new merchandise. I'm not going to buy anything else from this company.
I was watching tik toks when I heard someone mention these pliers, so I had to order them. They didn't fall short of our expectations! I have a few pairs of jewelry pliers, but they're either uncomfortable to use, difficult to grip, leave marks on my jewelry, or are too small. These are ideal: they're the right size, they're easy to hold, they don't leave marks, and they're not too small. So far, this has been the best tiktok purchase.
I ordered a replacement, and they were also covered in grease and dirt, and they couldn't even close, indicating that they were defective; I was expected to return them, which would be a waste of time; I won't be ordering from this seller again if at all possible.
I haven't tried them out yet to see how they perform, but the first thing I noticed was the sticker with their logo's mustache, which I thought was a cute touch, and then I noticed how filthy the pliers were. I didn't think they could possibly be new until I went back to see if I'd ordered used ones and saw all of the complaints about the same issue and then some. I can say that all of mine are close to each other and appear to be in good condition in that regard, but the fact that they were so filthy and worn out caught me off guard. I believe they are brand new, but the company's quality control and product appearance must be lacking.
They were filthy and appeared to have been used when they arrived. br>I recently used them, and the quality is also poor. The wire cutter isn't very sharp; it has trouble cutting 18 gauge wire, and the round nose pliers don't even touch at the top; they're completely useless. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. br>Customer service was extremely helpful, and a new set is on its way to me. It just arrived, and it's even dirtier than the first. Although they were kind enough to send me a second pair, I would not recommend purchasing these. Spend a little more money on ones that are clean and functional.
Because I lost my jewelry pliers, I ordered this. They arrived today and are in excellent working condition. My only gripe is that the packaging was soiled with food and had food all over the handles. I know it says they're coated in oil to prevent rusting, and there was oil on the tools, but there was also actual food inside all over the handles. I just cleaned the bajesus out of them, but it's pretty disgusting that these were clearly opened, repackaged with food on them, stapled shut, and sold as new when they were used. I'm not returning them because they were cheap and otherwise in good condition, so I simply cleaned them, but I have to say the state of the product upon arrival left a sour taste in my mouth.
I ordered what I thought were new pliers and instead received a pair of scuffed, worn pliers that had been sitting in a drawer for five years. They've obviously been put to good use: As I was inspecting the grips, I noticed that they were warped and stained, and that they left an oily residue on my fingers. The pliers have a scuffed metal finish. These tension bars (excuse me if that's not the correct term)? Two of these have sunken grips that don't align, indicating that they've been used a lot. When I tried to open the package, the shoddy staple job cut me open, which didn't help matters. I would not have paid the price I did if I had known I would be getting yard sale quality pliers. Yes, they're pliers, and they get the job done, but the quality is disappointing.
They arrived rusted and filthy, as if they'd been soaked in some kind of sticky tar. Check out the images. What's the deal with the grime on the handles? It looked as if someone had stapled used tools into plastic. It was a huge let down. They'll be returned to me.
