This magnifier turned out to be quite good for its price. The magnifier had been rejected by other magnifiers he had tried. In case he didn't like the 10x21 Hasting Triplet magnifier, I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on something he wouldn't like. Fortunately, the optical quality is quite nice and the frame of the glasses seems quite sturdy. The glass was clear and did not show any chromatic aberrations.
