As a chasing hammer, I would say it's fantastic! The hammer I bought is lightweight, but not so light that it makes it feel cheap. I am very new to metalworking and jewelry making, so this hammer appeals to me. For a first chasing hammer this is a great option!.
The system works well. For smaller hands, this handle is excellent. It's only been a couple weeks since I used it. This is a lightweight hammer, so it is probably not very good for stamping, especially with heavy design stamps, but it is a good addition to any.
