There is a poor quality to this product

Divots were visible on both the top and bottom of the hammer. It was useless, so this was a waste of time! Using a hammer with divots to planish silver will leave marks on your metal because of the divots on the hammer head. It was also poorly attached to the handle. As a result, I returned it to the store and bought myself a planishing hammer from a jewelry supply store, once again proving that you get what you pay for.

As a new addition to the five different ones she already has, it works great. On a small piece of railroad track, which she uses as an anvil, she was using it today. Seeing as it's popular with her, I'm also in favor of it.

The handle is made of cheap wood and has a good hammerhead

The cheap wooden handle will often slide out of the hammerhead, or after awhile, it will just break inside the hammerhead. Hammerhead of good quality, wooden handle of cheap quality Buy a wooden handle that is of high quality.

The product is nicely finished (made in Pakistan) The grip appears to be well balanced The jar is about 4 ounces, if I'm not mistaken. Good polish on the face of the head.
