It probably could, but I had to sharpen the tip with a metal file in order for it to penetrate between the splits and widen them. I'd look for a different tool if I were you - This one isn't quite as good as the others.
On the package (I keep tools like thin in their original packaging) or on the tool itself, there is no indication of where it was made. www. is the URL for the package's website. beadthoven is a Dutch word that means "beads" in English us on it. I'd approach them with an inquiry. The tool itself performs admirably in its intended function (opening split-opening split-opening split-opening split-opening split-opening split-opening split When I need to add or remove something from a ring, I use it to open it.
This plier is for opening the jumpring; we also have a plier for cutting wire, which you can find here: B01JOO66XM is a product code that can be used to purchase a product. I hope this has been of assistance.

This tool was a complete failure. Despite the fact that the description stated that it would fit all sizes of slip rings for jewelry, it did not fit small rings. Worse yet, the pliers' tips aren't even aligned. Spend a few dollars more and you'll get a product that actually works. I'd give it a 0 if I had the option.
I'm a big fan of split-second decisions. I was looking for a ring that could be used for multiple tasks and came across this and wondered if it would fit all of the different sizes. Yes, and yes, and yes, and yes, and yes, and yes, and yes, and yes, and yes I've always wondered why there isn't a tool that can open and hold a split ring open so that keys can be loaded into it. This one does an excellent job, and I've used it with split rings ranging from 3/8" to 1 1/2" and it works flawlessly. If you work with split rings, it's a must-have tool.
We planned to use split rings in a jewelry project. So I was looking for the right size split ring (while silently bidding farewell to my fingernails) when this little contraption appeared in my search results. I was completely unaware that such a thing existed, so I purchased it right away. Everything went smoothly! I was not looking forward to fighting with 60 tiny split rings, but it saved me a lot of time and effort. This is a fantastic product that I wholeheartedly recommend!.
I'd been using a pair of cheap split ring pliers that came with a pack of 50 rings and thought they worked fine. After that, I came across these and decided to give them a shot. The ones that were provided for free were far superior. There's no way to grip the ring and there's very little control. Okay, so it's a five-star rating compared to using your fingernail, but still. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that With my fingernails, I can do it much faster.
While it lasted, this was enjoyable. I make bracelets on a daily basis, and after about a month, one side has worn down to the point where it now slides over to the worn-down side when I use it.
This is an excellent tool. It has an ergonomic handle that even the wife uses. AWESOME ITEM FOR THE TACKLE BOX AND OTHER PLACES!.
This was purchased to aid in the attachment of small split rings with a diameter of 10mm. Rather than using the tool, I found it easier to do it by hand. On a 10mm split ring, the plier's tip is too large and imprecise to use. Even on the larger, key-based systems, it isn't very effective. split rings of various sizes The plier's finish is too rough to open the ring without difficulty. I'm going to be back.
