Pony beads have been a part of my projects for several years now, and I have bought the same size each time. As a result, I'd say they were "normal" sized.
In order for me to be able to bead my project, I insert the close/ seal before I begin. This avoids me having to worry about it falling out of my work.

This is a great set of beads! Fun and bright colors make this print stand out. During my daughter's birthday party, I used these beads. The kids were able to make their very own collars for their dogs once they picked out their dog from the "plush" adoption center. Their letter beads served to spell out their name, while the color beads served to make the collar pop. Pipe cleaners could slip the beads on the pipe cleaners because they were wide enough. children were able to use these beads independently even though they were 5 and 6 years old. These are products that I would recommend and that I would personally buy again. Craft centers will be glad to have these in their collection.
This kit has left me very disappointed. The string inside makes it impossible to tie off. I bought it to make bracelets for a 90's themed party, but I can't tie it Almost an hour has gone by since I watched videos on You Tube of people using similar bowstring to tie bracelets, but EVERY knot I have attempted has come undone when pressure is applied. There are no strings included in the kit, so it is worthless (since I will not have to buy them It is not clear whether they have changed the string type in the kit recently, or if all these other reviewers didn't attempt to use it, but I am amazed that nothing else has indicated that there are problems with this kit. Without the extra string, I do not recommend purchasing.

to do crafts with your kids, these are a must have. We have made friendship bracelets and bead animals with them. Photos depict the colors exactly as they appear on the website. It has a lot of bright colors that my kids like.
What a great little kit. The tackle box-style container the beads come in and the fact that the string is included are both great touches. I got this for a five-year-old to give to his friends.
As part of my Operation Christmas Child project, I am making bracelets and along with each bracelet, there will be a kit for the child to make their own bracelet by copying the steps I took to make the completed bracelet. The directions can be given in their own language, so no need for directions.
This was a big hit with the kids I bought it for. Hundreds of bracelets could be made from this and the beads were of good quality.
