Perler Beads Stripes And Pearls Assorted Fuse Beads Tray For Kids Crafts, 4000 pcs

I was hoping for a nice multi-color pack to make my kids' projects go more smoothly. Instead of sorting through the mixed pack I've been getting, I wanted them to have individual colors in individual cells/boxes. br>br>When I first opened the package, the first thing I noticed was that the colors were not at all what I had anticipated. Yes, striped and solids are mentioned in the description. But, despite the fact that I should have asked, I assumed that the colors would be fairly standard because the description makes no mention of them. It turned out that, aside from black and white, all of the other colors were odd shades that couldn't be mixed with any of our existing packs (which consisted of "standard" colors). br>br>The packaging was the next issue. Picking beads out of one cell without spilling them into another cell or all over the place is impossible. I ended up having to move each cell into its own separate container (which I had to buy separately), which took me about 40 minutes because scooping them out without spilling or mixing them was difficult.

br>br>BUT I purchased this set specifically because I double-checked the photo to ensure that all of the colors were striped. Only 6/16 of the colors are actually striped, as it turns out! Looking at the photo again, what I thought were subtle stripes were actually just shine. br>br>It was my fault, and they shouldn't be punished, but I'm disappointed.

There are no peg boards, and the color isn't very pigmented, so you can see the melted bead underneath when ironing it. Colors like green, pink, yellow, and I believe orange (the color next to pink) aren't as pigmented as black, white, or double-colored ones, which is disappointing.

Excellent colors and a great price. So far, these are my favorite perler beads. When you iron the design, the stripes become really cool. We had a big craft party at our house with a bunch of girls, and I had no idea they'd end up playing with perler beads for hours. I believe we used up the majority of this kit in one evening. The perler boards will have to be purchased separately. You can also stop attempting to sort all of those tiny beads into their own color compartment. They're all organized at first, but eventually - The colors mix and mingle. Allow your OCD to run wild on this one, and embrace the chaos. (My personal favorite is the black and white striped bead!).

They grew to adore them in the end. The only thing I wish it came in a more durable packaging box. Aside from that, it was a fantastic deal.

Perler beads are a favorite among my children. This set has fantastic stripes. The pearlized beads aren't as good as the regular ones - They are used by the kids on occasion, but when fused, they don't look very good. We bought this set again because the kids ate up the striped ones, but there are still plenty of pearled ones left.

I can't decide which projects to use some of them in because they're all so lovely. When the striped ones are fused together, they make a really cool design. I created a zombie, and the pink was just right for his brain!.

These beads are perfect for kandi designs because they heat evenly with an iron and stay melted together very well. With these beads, I've created a few different designs, and this was my first time making kandi for a music festival.
