I highly recommend the use of 1mm cord due to its strength. More than 2 years ago I made a rosary bracelet and it is still as strong as the day I made it and I wear it every day. Tie the knots as usual, but dab them with clear nail polish once you're done to make sure they hold. Usually, I give it a dab, let it dry and then do it again in case of mistake, then after it is completely dry, I cut it so it is very near the knot using a fingernail clipper. The product is extremely strong, well priced, and a great value.
The simplicity of the program is amazing. Throughout its lifetime, it does breakdown. That's the only problem I found to be an issue. I need to rethink how I do things I string my jewelry every 5 years, or later, if I want my pieces to last. Because of that, it's not a great value compared to other jewelry strings. The best thing to do is try this stuff if you want something easy and simple! It's best not to keep jewelry for more than a few years otherwise, you probably won't even notice the disadvantages.
In a craft store, you can get this for a few dollars cheaper than here (which is unusual on Amazon). decided to go to a chain craft store a week after I bought this and found it was cheaper there. Getting it here is the lazy way to go. It's time to go to the store if you aren't already. In addition to this, another thing to remember is While this string is especially useful if you need something stretchy and durable, it can be a real pain to knot because it unravels so easily. The package will tell you how to knot the cord, or you can finish the jewelry with crimping beads. The knots in the bracelet I made use of crimping beads instead of knots because I thought the knots were ugly and warped the bracelet's shape.
The one I always turn.
It's strong, flexible, and works great.
On Facebook, I saw people using Stretch Magic for jewelry making, so I tried it for myself.
Making bracelets with it is my favorite use for it.
