I thought it would be thin, but it turned out to be much thicker than I imagined. In my original purchase, I had also purchased from EuTengHao. A stretchy string of 8 strands It was a pleasure to discover and order additional rolls of string from the same company after I liked the first. The item appears to be at least 25% thicker than others, which means that it does not double in thickness. It matches their other strings but not their 4mm glass beads which are used to finish the ends of my project. Over all, it is a good string, it just doesn't match their other strings.
