Whenever we ran out of this twine, I went to Hobby Lobby, and the twine they sold me was so sticky that it was somewhat clingy. An excellent wax coating has been applied to this twine. There is no stickiness but you can tell that it is waxed as it is sturdy. The next time I order I will reorder!.

A high quality waxed twine, in my opinion, is by its very definition NOT polyester cord. It is a very light waxing, and I mean VERY light. Poly is unlikely to be used, but cotton or jute are likely. I use a match to seal the knot that I tie on my cord bracelets, and it is also half the size of my REAL 1 mm POLY cord. As I attempted to blow out this fire, the twine ignited, and I blew it up The impression I get is not good! There is a possibility that a bracelet made for a young person might be injured if it was too close to a flame. I might be able to wrap packages with it. There should be no problems with that. It is always possible with waxed cord for it to be too stiff, but this did not happen. The fabrics are of excellent quality, without fraying or fuzzy edges. These are the cords I need to replace the one I had on a My Intent bracelet. They work well, but they're not quite the same. Cords unravel too quickly for the amount of manipulation needed to make bracelets, so be sure to add a few more inches to whatever project you are creating. They are beautiful colors and there is a lot of variety, and the pouch is an excellent organization tool.

I know a guy who sells these things on the street in Jaco, so i purchased it to take with me. When I brought this stuff out he took one look at it and said, "This is no good. " He then gave me a couple of his own supplies to learn from. He also had been planning to receive some of the pieces and I promised him I would. declined, saying that it was garbage that he could not use. It is clear after using his materials that I must agree. The stuff here is a waste of time and The hair was never waxed. Necklace ends are difficult to seal with this material. You should not try to go to a virtual craft store when you can go to a live craft store and try to find things like this on.
