Questions & Answers

How do you make lapidary paste with this powder? What is the recommended base to use?

In addition to the water and detergent, I also used a small spray bottle to polish the floors.

When these diamonds were made, what technique was used?

Synthesis of this material is done via a process of high pressure, high temperature (for short HPHT). This is the closest thing you can get to a diamond Making a hole in the Earth's bowels by subjecting graphite (yes, the stuff in the This pencil consists of pure carbon material) from A HPHT machine uses tiny anvils to squeeze the graphite in the presence of an intense electrical current.

Do you think I can make this into a spray I can use to apply the leather if I add water to it?

I agree, the way an application is submitted is not that important. Please make sure that you use a wide enough sprayer in order to prevent the sprayer from getting

For making a diamond powder concentrate, what liquid would be good to mix with isopropyl alcohol later? What ratio would be best?

As I explained how I used the powder, I was asked for help. In my case, I use diamond powder to facet/cut and polish A gem stone that has been polished. That is actually what I cannot help you with unless that is what you are doing. With a real light oil like WD40 and a small amount of 50K powder, no alcohol, I use a flat metal disk with a real light weight.

Stropping cutting tools has never been easier On leather or balsa, use this product
5/5

The clear, soft pine you can find at the home center will work just fine If you sharpen the balsa correctly, they will sharpen better than new) The balsa is great for making dedicated contours for gouges and V-cuts A tool. Acetone or lacquer thinner) in a pump sprayer make application easier, but a few drops of mineral oil applied with a fingertip after working the powder into the surface works just The software I use is called Then the fifth person looks at your picture For finishing/fine work, use 1 um (50,000), and 6 - 10 um for rough work The diameter of the hole should be 12um (1500) for general maintenance work, A 45um (325) roughing/repair gauge is a good choice. There is a possibility that the fine powder I am using is too fine. It works great, but probably takes longer to dry than a slightly coarser grit. You can use the 6-grit if you only want to use one I recommend using a 12um steel for most sharpening. It will work well for most applications on cowhide. Simply apply light pressure to prevent the leather from being compressed and the edge from being hooked. In my experience, kangaroo leather is harder and stronger (no sweat glands, I believe, is why) which prevents the leather from compressing and deflecting. Good bovine leather works excellent, just be mindful of how much pressure you apply Throughout my use of this stuff, it has proved to be very useful and goes a long way (I am generous with it, and for the prices it is, you can afford to be generous). The diamond spray is much more costly than it is to use this method, and you end up with much If you shake it hard before using, it should work well if added to the 50% oil spray. I have not tried it yet, but I believe it would work nicely. It seems like commercial sprays are merely water with a dash of diamond powder, so you could try that as well. If you choose to) you can polish them so that they appear mirror-like, and this is a value in both how easy they are to cut and what effect they have on the surface. You should polish the top and flank sides of the carbide. Once the carbide has been rough ground with a resinoid or plated diamond wheel, you should work through the grits of diamond powder to make This powder will be of particular interest to sharpening hobbyists -- I wish you all the best with sharpening!.

Polish of the highest quality
5/5

During that time. My second purchase of this product. The product is an ultrafine powder to polish surface. The best way to carry this product is to mix it with wax and mineral oil. Whenever I need to clean knives on leather or polish a machinized part such as a trigger assembly or engine part, I use this tool. You won't find a better polish to use.

There is no other way to go on strops but diamond dust! There is no other way to go on strops but diamond dust! By scooping some out of the bag with my knife tip, I rub a little on my strops 8" x 3" to get out some residue
5/5

The amount is not very much, but I'm not sure how much it is. Each gram of rice would be possible for me to perform this 50 times. As it spreads, it is even and non-sticky. It cuts faster than any paste I have ever used and it does not gush up on the strop once it has been treated with diamond dust. The strop can still be used many times before reapplying the diamond dust. When you glide your blade across it, it feels like it has been sprayed with baby powder. The only way to go is to do it.

The seller confirmed that the diamond was real for me after I asked if it was a real one
3/5

I do skincare and I use this to mix it with There were some grains in the grit that did not mix, resulting in a waste of some of the product. I gave it a 3 because the grit is not uniform when it comes to the amount of grains mixing.

Using Magic Dust to sharpen and polish knife blades on leather boards mounted on strops has proven to be an effective method
5/5

We recently acquired a used Fallkniven A1 in very good condition, with a few scratches, which buffed out nicely and more quickly than we imagined. The diamond cut quickly with the super fine particles bringing up a brilliant shine. Handling the material can be a bit tricky being so fine, so a wooden coffee stirrer is handy to dip it out of the You can further disperse the powder by adding a few drops of isopropyl alcohol. It is very easy to cover a strop with a very small amount. This product seems very interesting and I am looking forward to discovering its many uses.

fine! I love it so much
5/5

When mixed together with some 3n1 oil and wax at a 4 to 1 ratio, it thickens and thins as it needs to. Even though the diamonds are so minute, they are so aggressive that they make perfect mirror polish!.
