Questions & Answers
Polishing metal with steel media is done using the steel media. Each type of gemstone requires a different tumbling medium. All stones cannot be polished with one and the same media. Some stones require a different kind of media, while others don't.
It is a good product for making jewelry tumbles, but you should use 2 pounds of media if you are using a 3 pound tumbler. Our products are glad to have you interested in BC Precision.
The inside of your fuel tank might not be the best place to use that. I think you would need more than 1 pound. There are only a few of them. Ideally, I would prefer to use rough pebbles or some type of sharp edged small stone. I hope this is helpful.
In reality, it has to do with the type of barrel. My old Chicago Electric tumbler that was filled with sludge has been replaced by one with an acrylic barrel, and I am overjoyed not to have it. My shot would get dirty after every hour of tumbling, so I would empty it and rinse it.

It is too bad there is You can also shop somewhere else. It appears from the screenshot that a substantial portion of the shot is composed of dull gray pins which are snipped steel wires. I am not sure if these little things are stainless as I have never seen In addition to a new rubber barrel and this new shot, both were clean and burnedishing medium was used for one hour. Then I checked to find all my sterling the color and dull finish of those horrible little snips of wire that are not visible in the pictures. It is difficult to see a use for them and disappointing that they are still listed on 4 star reviews even with negative feedback. There are so many negative Amazon reviews on this topic that I think Amazon should respond promptly. Unfortunately, I tumbled small parts and beads that I was using to make jewelry, and it took me hours to fully separate them from this product. I'd like to post my feedback before I send it back.
Several of the larger shapes and pieces have a coating. As if a powder coat was applied. After cleaning them, my sterling pieces of jewelry were left with a black residue that had to be re-polished My silver polishing cloth is perfect for polishing silver. I am returning this product for a refund as soon as possible.
A side by side often occurs more than once Aside from that My shoot went through the mesh of the strainer I use to rinse it and it came out pretty clean Magnets are so deeply persuasive that tiny pins can follow and cling to two layers of plastic the first time they come into contact with them. They don't look like stainless steel to me. Despite the size, pins contribute a significant amount to the weight of the In addition, there is the following The balls of Saturn With an angle pin, a shaped bearing, and a larger angle chunk- Magnets are of little interest to them as they seem well turned and well mannered. In the event I am wrong, I would appreciate you letting me know whether the pins are stainless and offer a jewelry tumbling benefit.
There is no benefit to tumbling on this It should have been obvious to me that this tumbling medium was not good since it costs twice as much. Trying to remove it from jewelry items will drive you crazy because it is covered with tiny pins. There will be no more purchases of this product. It was only after purchasing more medium from a jewelry supplier that we were able to complete the project. This product ended up being a waste of money.
It is one of the worst media I have ever used for tumbling. I use this product daily, but it is inferior to other similar media I use on a daily basis. The package was poorly done ( loose shots leaked from the package inside my mailbox), and the quality is mediocre. This media is less effective in polishing metal on a side-by-side comparison than the alternative media, which polishes metal to a lovely shine in an identical amount of time. For this new media to do the same job my old media did, I'd have to let it tumble overnight.
Purchase two pounds if possible, and just add dawn When I'm working with fine silver and a lot of detail, the wasted time and elbow grease it takes to clean the black residue, polish, and fire scale off my jewelry are worth every penny. This is something that really is worth the gold it contains.
The lighter has only been in my possession for a few weeks, but it has been immersed in water the whole time, and there are no Thus far, so good, I don't expect it to show any wear soon.
I have attached a picture as a response to the user who asked about the volume of one pound. A measuring cup with a dry volume of 1/2 cup holds a pound of food.
