Selected User Reviews For Capri Tools Professional 1/4 in. Letter and Number Stamp Set, 36-Piece
I used these letter stamps on 12L14 steel and they worked well. No matter how mild the steel is, it is steel nonetheless. steel was left with clear, sharp impressions, and most of the metal did not move away from the steel. There are only two reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. One is that the numbers are slightly larger than an eighth inch. While I wasn't sure whether I should get the 1/8" or 3/16", I'm glad I decided to go with the smaller one. It is evident that this is a good product.
It's nice to see these in such a crisp, solid format. The set reminds me of old ones that you see in museums, rather than cheap bubbled steel like I've seen on some sets. My first attempt was on scrap wood, and the key is to use a small hammer while hitting lightly two or three times. tried the carpenter's hammer, but it was hard to handle. If you have one of those hammers designed for hanging pictures, give it a few taps. You want to make an impression, but not try to ram the whole thing into the material. It will make a circle around the object. In order to replace old telephone parts that are too far gone, I am making simulated antique telephone parts from them. This is the perfect way to make terminal codes in wood, and then fill them in with white shoe polish wax to create the same effect as Still, I can think of lots of things I'd like to try adding these to my arsenal. As a bonus, I have no previous experience with these, but I managed to figure it out on a scrap piece of wood quickly.
Cheaper versions lack this detail, which is difficult to do.
This set of codes goes well with brass keys that I am stamping codes on. I appreciate the high quality of the stamps, they came with a light coating of oil to prevent rusting, and they My HPC SA is compatible with these The alignment tool works perfectly on Windows 7 I had hoped for something like this. To check the quality of the stamps, I lightly tapped them with a 3 lb hammer and each one was clear and shapely. It was a bit uncertain how they would work, but I decided to give them a try before spending $60-$70 A set of HPCs or Young Bros. can be had for $80. A stamp. Having done so, I am glad The set I purchased meets all of my needs and I do not need a more expensive set.
All of them did not show up on a variety of metals I tried them on. This is also a super cheap case that is difficult to open and shut. Adding an update The right tools were not available to me. I think this is a.
It's hard to imagine how many sets of Young Bros I have. Though they are not as good as the hand-cut stamps, they are serviceable and of sufficient quality for the price. There is no doubt where it was heat treated, so you can see where the price is right.
That is the so-called magnification. The Smart ID Stamp is also known as Smart ID. There are only a few places where the orientation is correctly engraved. The inability to identify a problem The answer is no! There is a corresponding engraving on one of the numbers in accordance with the advertisement. In case you are looking for an easy way to identify the right stamp or orientation, then this is not the set for you. The advertising for this product is extremely disappointing These are defectively engraved and this merchant knows it. You are paying for something that is flawed. I wouldn't spend the money on this. There is a sense of cheating.
They were softer and didn't mark steel very well, so I had some lying around. I have found that they do a good job There are clear marks on the paper.
