The simplest method is to attach the charm by opening one of the jump rings included in the kit. If you're new to jewelry-making, a YouTube video on how to open jump rings is a good place to start. The bottom of the earring has an open loop on one side that can be moved to the side with jewelry pliers to attach the charm.

This starter kit appeals to me greatly! However, a few of the stones are eluded me. If I don't know what I'm doing, it's less appealing to use. Aside from that, there's a lot of variety, and the materials are fantastic! The stones are a little oddly cut for rings, but there are a few good ones among them, and they're all perfect for earrings! Overall, this is a good product.
I've included a picture in case anyone else is having trouble! . . . found it on Etsy, where someone else was selling the same kit!.
To be honest, I'm a professional ring maker now, thanks to this starter kit, and I've been in business for quite some time. lmao, the attached video was not made with anything from this kit, but you should know that the skills came from me practicing with it.
I like how diverse the stones are, and the quantity isn't bad either, especially considering the price.
I went to Hobby Lobby and found a box with 12 different crystal stones for $30, but for $27, I got 28 different crystal stones, a ring wrapper, and a lot more. Get this, it's well worth it, even if I'm sure not all of the stones are genuine. It's still great for jewelry making.
It produces a good number of lovely small rocks, but they will disappear quickly. br>You only have enough wire to wrap around the container it comes in, so you'll need to buy more if you want to make more than a couple rings. br>You get a good supply of rubber string and supplies for making necklaces. br>In general, this is better suited to necklaces and possibly earrings than rings. I bought it primarily for the rings, so it's not as useful as a kit because I still need to purchase more supplies separately than I anticipated. br>I still give it four stars because, aside from running out of rocks quickly, it would be adequate for making necklaces and earrings. br>However, it is unlikely to be worth $30.
It's a hit with my 9-year-old granddaughter, who uses it to make jewelry. It includes everything a beginner would require.
