Why would you do that? You could, but why would you want to. The wire is not like string but a solid wire.

This is not good for making wire crafts. Wire weaving was the purpose of buying this. My projects always seam to be plagued with wire breakage halfway through due to the thin and weak wire in some large sections of the spool. That was a disappointment. What if I just got the wrong spool of paper? This is the first time I've bought wire here in 26g.
