Questions & Answers

Can you do it half as well?

In my experience, yes, and as you work with it, it gets even harder.

It would be great if this wire were combined with polymer clay. Is this polymer clay product susceptible to damage from being baked at 275 degrees F in an oven?

I have no doubt that the copper will be fine. You'll need a torch to melt the wire, and 275 F is nowhere near high

It seems that I cannot get the wire end out of the mouth of the packaging after I have bought a couple packs of this wire. There must be a trick to this, right?

The only thing there is to the package is its "mouth". There is a slit to keep the unused portion from unwinding, and there is a hole near the top for the wire to hang from. I hope this helps.

Do you know if this material is hard enough to make jump rings?

For it to harden, you would need to tap on it for a long time. A single circle would not suffice. You can continue tapping until it becomes harder, but it won't become so hard that it will resemble

The STIFFEST set of instructions I've ever seen It may be challenging to work with them on certain projects
3/5

I hate everything about the wire, and I like everything about the wire. I make copper coils by hand, and I hate all the things about it. Buy them on eBay and sell them Shop on Etsy. My husband and I have used this product for YEARS & I found the 18ga to be very mailable and not too difficult to work with -- The pain on my fingers is incredibly painful. It appears that Beadsmith is now being sold at all venues as "Beadsmith Tarnish Resistant Craft Wire," and IT IS NOT SOFT AND THICK If it has "the NEW LABEL", it can be mailed. There are companies that are passing off TIN LIKE FEELING Wire as the genuine "Beadsmith Tarnish Resistant Craft Wire. "

So -- This is the ARTISTIC WIRE that I bought Approximately 20 ga. I & I An 18-gauge bullet. Featured here is 20 ga and 30 ga Stainless Steel Artist Wire Likewise, 18 gauge bare copper wire is the exact same wire that is marketed as "Beadsmith Tarnish Resistant Craft Wire. " It has a hard TIN LIKE FEEL to it. That WERE SOFT COPPER WIRE USED TO BE. The wire is so kinked we can't get the marks off - both are miserable about it The 18ga in particular is an especially powerful cartridge. You cannot even USE Pliers to PRESS THE DENTS OUT of the wire because they are so deep. As well as the NYLON JAWS Pliers I also have, so I can straighten and straighten The "turns" need to be smoothed out I have taken into account all potential problems with working with Mailable Copper Wire after working with proper dead soft wire.

Hope it helps that I am able to make Copper Coils repetitively trouble free in a decent amount of time to justify In total, it took me over two and a half hours PRESS kink marks out of 6 in 1 and a half hours Then I tried to coil the STIFF HARD WIRE into a COIL using 21 inch pieces of 18-gauge copper wire. It took another 1/2 to 45 minutes of bending the wire into a coil. The photo shows how far I got after a lot more than half an I, & I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING HORRIBLE HERE HANDY, you will not be able to wind decent coils out of this wire. If you have a JIG then YES, you can The only thing you cannot do by hand is to touch. Since the coils I make by hand have no jig, there is no chuck. During the 1st & 2nd semesters In the third photo you can see the coils as they should appear. Is it possible to imagine how much time and effort it would take to make JUST 6 Large Coils using this wire? And they would be "unsalable!". There is NEGATIVE feedback on eBay for poor workmanship. You may need to manipulate your Wire in smooth turns if you need to do so COILS are similar to this WIRE LIKE THIS IS NOT TO BE PURCHASED. Perhaps it could be used for wrapping wire There is a problem, but it's very very hard. BEAR IN MIND When the wire is pulled out, a spring is produced. The spool could poke you in the eye while you try to open it. As a result of the STIFFNESS, the wire quickly unwinds. You can't WRAP / ROUND / WIND it around the little spool. The very fact that this stuff is so stiff is a good indicator of its stiffness. In addition to this, I am out of business until I can find Soft Copper Wire for my coil making business. Therefore, I am out the money I spent on the 20ga as well as the 20ga We use ARTISTIC copper wire in 18 ga.

It is fake
3/5

This wire is not real copper, so if you are using it for science experiments, it won't work. However, if you are forging jewelry, you may be able to use it, but it will not work if you are forging jewelry.

It never occurred to anyone that jewelry findings would become part of What is the routine for the 19 facemask? It takes 18 months to complete this project Wire that is heavy enough to hold its shape can be used to make my face masks, and when I hand wash them I do not have to worry about an iron ruining them Using a copper wire, the mask is corroded and marked
5/5

My original purpose for this wire was to be used for beading or jewelry making, and I've used other Beadalon wires for jewelry-making for years. The making of There are no words to describe what a gorgeous piece of copper this is, it's close to being too beautiful to hide inside a The system works, however.

Jewelry making is easy with this material! Wire wrapped jewelry is one of the things I plan to use this wire for
5/5

Wrapping stones with it is one of my favorite uses. While it's highly resistant to damage from pliers, it's malleable enough that it can be bent as I desire or need. We use this wire because it is smaller gauge, so it is perfect for weaving and wrapping around larger objects The gauge of the wire (for example, 14 or 16 gauge).

Craft wire of the highest quality Finishing is of a professional standard
5/5

I have tried solid copper wire from far more expensive sources, but the wire I tried here is much better. It makes an excellent inlay for wooden rings and pens - it cuts well and has a nice finish. I am trying to upload some photos, but I assure you it looks professional as long as I do my part in the making process.

I love the way it twists and turns
5/5

Purchased this for an art project (my first sculpture ever! In spite of that, it is a beautiful color, and it is super bendable and easy to manipulate. A pair of pliers and a pair of wire cutters allowed me to braid and twist the entire 20 yards into mini barb wire. It's not very sharp when cut, so I didn't need gloves, but I do have a tiny bit of a scratch on my thumb and pointer finger. Despite the fact that the wire didn't go as far as I expected, it is still a great price so I reordered more to complete my project. 10/10 recommend.

The nose pieces for masks can be made from this
5/5

The tips of these are bent back into small loops after they are cut into 7" lengths. It's much easier to throw masks in the wash when the nose wire of the mask can be easily slipped in and out. This wire is strong and flexible enough to handle being bent this way and that, and it also won't rust.

My favorite wire of all time
5/5

I love how this wire is so perfect for jewelry making and crafting! It is such a good price for the amount of wire you get. In addition to making a lot of earrings and crafts, I have a lot of other stuff. The next time I buy, I'd like to get it from you!.
