Questions & Answers

as difficult as I thought it would be?

There is a bit of a misunderstanding between what you ask and what I can do. Although I was able to handle the wire by hand, I am still able to wrap stones and sea glass with the 20 gauge wire. You will 'work harden' the wire as you work with it. Here's what I have to say. I hope this helps.

The wire forms a patina when it's in contact with liver of sulfur gel, doesn't it?

When copper wire is left bare it will form a patina with liver of sulfur, but actually it can age nicely all by itself as it does all by itself. A wire made of bare copper is the real deal, a visually pleasing wire in any gauge that patinas all on its own. Obviously, you can enhance the smell, but aging has a natural scent that is

It seems to be copper colored to you. What are the chances of it being real Copper that is bare is referred to as bare copper, but in the description it is described as Can you tell me which one it is? A bare surface or one that has been ?

Wire from the Artistic Wire line is top quality, permanently colored copper wire. The copper is bare, but has been coated in a tarnish-resistant

I have several sets of round copper wire in many gauges, but none of them include 20 gauge wire, which is actually a thickness I would like to use quite a bit
5/5

I have a lot of sets of round copper wire in many gauges, but none have 20 gauge wire. As a result, I purchased it. Note This is copper wire not covered with anything. There is some confusion with the item description, as it appears recycled from other Artistic Wire items (you may have seen other spools in green, purple, or orange). Upon receiving the copper wire, I noticed that it no longer was coated with any non-coating This will protect against tarnish (this was experimented with patinas and they have taken, which confirms the lack of enamel coating, as well as the absence of glaze There is tarnish on the You can keep this in a small, closed container with some 3M anti-tarnish tape if you don't want it to tarnish The tabs (as well as anything made of it) tend to tarnish. You can also seal it with a sealant or spray, however sealants usually need to be reapplied from time to time. It seems that this is a dead soft piece. The nylon-based one is easier for me to manipulate with my hands, though I prefer to use a nylon-based one Pliers with a jaw. plain text These pliers have a coating. I am going to use bail if, for example, In the case of roundnose pliers, I'll use bare steel. Fortunately, I haven't had to anneal it yet to re-harden it Generally, you should try not to work it too much, as that might make it hard. The small flush cutters on my Eurotool are easily able to cut this. The wire wrapping I have done so far does not look very good, but it might get better over time. I am pretty good at making eyepins (really, everyone should learn how to make them so they don't have to buy finished ones that might not even be the length you want) with this so far, and I've made some paddles, but I definitely need more practice. A hammer is used to pound the end of a cut piece into a type of headpin. In any case, this made a good purchase if you want to practice wire wrapping and make When I run out, I'm likely to go back to the same product.

You can use this to make beads and jewelry! I've been making little dangle charms with beads for a few months
5/5

My experience with purchasing wire was that it was either too hard to work with or too soft and would not There is no other way! A flexible material that stays in place when bent. As well as the wire quality, it is excellent. There are no fading or chips in the color.

That's some pretty awesome copper wire
5/5

Crystals and gemstones look great when wrapped in this wire. It usually takes between 14 and 15 minutes for me Wrapping the main part of the garment in 20 gauge. 20 guage wire is a bit more bendable than the larger grade, so I find it much easier to work with when I have smaller gemstones/crystals to work with. Sometimes I wrap this wire with 26 gauge, in order to give it a pretty, detailed appearance. A wire threader earring is what I plan to make using this spool. Not only is the copper wire of this brand of high quality, but I love the spool feature too. I don't see any other brand that I would choose. This allows the wire to be stored neatly, and prevents it from getting bent and dented while.

Wire wrapping is made easier with this product
5/5

Wire wrapped jewelry is one of the things I plan to use this wire for. Wrapping stones with it is one of my favorite uses. While it's highly resistant to damage from pliers, it's malleable enough that it can be bent as I desire or need. It is a smaller gauge wire, so it is ideal for weaving and wrapping around larger-sized objects The gauge of the wire (for example, 14 or 16 gauge).

Copper wire that's pretty and works
5/5

Yeah, I knew I couldn't go wrong if I followed the directions one of the reviews gave me. Apart from that, another reviewer offered a positive review. The seller has sold to me before and I was happy with the product. I love how easy it is to use and how beautiful this wire is. Although I had stayed away from doing wire wrapping because I thought I could never do it, I am very pleased with the results I have obtained. Additionally, I expect it will be popular with my customers.

I made an electric train out of wire
5/5

My son's science experiment involved an electric train, so I used this to build one. It was hard to find this gauge in hardware stores, but I found it here for a great price. It saves me time from having to drive to every store to search for things I need, since I can shop online. Upon arrival, it was in perfect condition!!.

Wire is great
5/5

Perfect bare copper wire. The fact that there is not a non-bare wire is excellent. It tarnishes perfectly in liver of sulfur if it has a tarnish coating. It bends easily, making it an ideal material for Heat causes the ends to ball up. The book is great! I would.

The wire is solid copper, with dimensions according to the description, and is packaged in a roll container that repackages the unused wire without tangling
5/5

We ship fast and we ship fast. But it is a given that two day shipping comes with an Amazing purchase. It's well packed, and it comes in a clever container to keep the wire from becoming tangled. Recommend. There are no links in the wire, but the 3/4 ring clip keeps the unused wire securely in place. I have only used the wire for magnetic devices so far, but my girls will have their beading kits here in a couple of weeks.
