I recommend to avoid online shopping for anything "gold plated" since it is a complete waste of money. Although I wasn't expecting real gold, I would have been content with tarnish resistant fake gold. Each one turned black after a single wearing. There is no point in paying the price, there isn't even a dollar's worth of value. I will not be purchasing from this seller in the future.

It is very handy to have these pins on hand. There is a loop at one end. Using a one-to-one correspondence If the other end is a looper, it can be easily converted to one. Looping these with a needle one by one is how I used to do it. You need pliers with a nose. I can make all my loops the same, and they are all perfect, with these pins and a looper.

All they have lost, however, is their livelihood. These were wonderful as far as making jewelry was concerned. After wearing the piece for less than one month, the finish has worn away, leaving a gunmetal gray color. (I did not wear it in water or excessively either).

I like the amount I got for the price. I have purchased them twice. I believe the gold does chip off with lots of bending, but if you don't make mistakes or change your mind often like I do, these are probably great to start with.
