The tank would be too large for 30 gallons. I am not able to get the 55 gal barrel to fit my mower'
As a result, you can't spread the ring widely enough to open the barrel lid because the tolerance between the barrel lid and the support is too close. With the stock lockring, you can't get it open unless you plan on tilting the barrel all the way to one side. I have had no problems with any of the plastic covers, Moultrie and others. This thing is really It's been over a month since I've hung at my lease without incident.
Built for 55 gallons of corn, this barrel is designed for use with a 55 gallon barrel. I've got a feeder motor, so it weighs about 300 lbs total.
My feeding station has been up for over a year now and I have not observed any water leaks or affected corn. Rubber washers can be added to the bolt head if you are concerned about water getting in.

This is a good piece of equipment and it's built well. The lid needs to be sealed and the locking ring needs to be removed.
The 55 gallon plastic fits, but the 55 gallon metal is not wide enough!.

The goods from Boss Buck are good, but they are a little pricey.
Changing everything I have bought to fit a 55gallon drum does take a lot of time, but I have to do it because the original item was not designed to fit that size. There seems to be a problem with the width of these shoes.
