These are glue ups I bought specifically to use when I have to glue up small woodworking projects on my workbench

The glue squeeze out from about ten projects that I have glued with Timberbond 3 wood glue always sticks to the project, but the glue never sticks to the Even though I can't remember if this was designed for woodworking or not, I find it to be a great tool for my current needs. am pretty sure amazon does sell dedicated glue up mats for what I am looking for, but since those seem to be made out of the same material, I think for the size and price this seems to be a good The only complaint I have is that there is nothing wrong with it. I'm sure I will test my luck with epoxy glue ups in the future, but I'm fairly confident that it will do just fine with that as well.

My second one of these has buckled but I can't seem to fix it

In my line of work, I wanted to find a surface to work on that wouldn't damage my table and would also be easy to clean. It's not what you're looking for. It was fine until I tried to clean the paint off it, and then the paint began buckling. My first one, the same size and from the same company SAPID, was no better. The item would not lay flat any more. The larger pieces had to be cut into smaller ones so I could use them All the reviews that were great prompted me to consider that perhaps it was just the first that had an issue. Obviously I should've ordered another one, but after about 3 weeks, it's doing the same thing. It is not possible for the mat to lie flat in the middle. It has been a frustrating experience for me. Unless it can be cleaned, then what is the point of The paper towel and water I used were both environmentally friendly. In any event, this particular company and mat ought to be avoided.

Mat seems to be well made and thicker than I have seen with other silicone mats I have purchased in the past. It came folded, however, which may just be a pet peeve of mine and no one else seems to be bothered by it. I am sure that as time goes on my mat will flatten out because of the folds, but I am not as sure it will stay in place as previous mats did because they hooked into the table. Perhaps it would have been nice to have it rolled up?.

Compared to other silicone sheets, these sheets are thicker. It is nice to look at. When painting 12 x12 wooden panels with acrylic paint, I use this method. As soon as it drips off the sides, the paint doesn't stick. What a great idea!.
