Every time I receive a package, there is always at least 100 pieces if not a few more. From Acmer I have now ordered a total of 4 packs of these 25mm cabochons. As of now, I have been pleased with the quality, clarity, and consistency of the goods I have received. I loved that my first two orders came packaged in plastic sheets that separated each cabochon. While some of the insects always managed to escape and floated around during shipping, I noticed far less damage than with other sellers that only used a bag during shipping. There wasn't a single broken piece on either of my first two orders, just some defects. A couple scratches were common, but it's nothing unusual for any company. I recently placed two orders where the pieces were loose in a bag, as I have seen from other sellers, and one bag was open and some were loose in the box (I likely lost some in the shipment), I received 10 crushed and some scratched cabochons. It is always possible to find some misshapen cabochons or bubbles on Acmer's products, but I am overall very happy with their products. It does not matter who package them in the future I just hope they go back to the original packaging, or else I may have to start looking for another supplier.
My order was for two more packs of these cabochons, bringing the total up to 3. Several people have stated they received damaged or incomplete orders from this company, but I am pleased with the quality and quick delivery. I have noticed a couple reviews of customers who complained about being shorted on their order or were sent the wrong product. It was evident from the second batch that the quality was extremely poor. In almost every case, the glass had been scratched, chipped or had air bubbles in it. Plastic bags had been used to pack all of them loosely- If you are shipping glass from China, this is a bad idea. The film on them was all over them, and I couldn't clean them off, so I assume they are all filmy. If they were for crafts, they might have been useful, but for making and storing goods, no. Selling jewelry is a waste of time. This is not a good reason to buy.
