Although I really wanted to like it, I need something with more speed and capability. It works pretty well when engraved with their stock images, but when designed with a custom design, I think the process is too long. I engraved a small coaster over the course of over an hour.

I don't like how cheap and fragile it is. Additionally, when a new person is getting into laser engraving, it is very hard to align the design because the system gives you only a dot and does not show you the actual design so that you can align it.

At first, I was skeptical of the laser as well however, I have been very impressed with the outcome. The software has been used for a number of cool projects. There is an incredible amount of detail in the burnt wood and the depth of the burn is remarkable. I love how easy it is to use!.

Straight out of the box, the laserpecker was easy to use and very easy to set up. This app's tutorial was easy to find and use, and it comes with several pieces of recycled brown paper that can be used to practice. At the very least, we hope the app works. At first, we were somewhat concerned about a few of the reviews. There isn't a great deal of buzz about it. But (there are a lot of buts in this review), the app seems to work fine when it does not encounter a small glitch. As a result, we had a small hiccup in registering because the code wouldn't send out to the Our server likely blocked them due to previous spam issues due to our switching to Gmail and receiving it (after learning they send confirmation codes from a generic domain that was likely blocked by our server). After a long process, we ended up with the code and were able to use it as planned. While it would be nice to avoid having to do that, it would certainly be nice. All of the management is done locally from the app, so we didn't think that any confirmation codes or registrations were required. If it's not needed, there shouldn't be a need for an account. Even though this paragraph is long, we didn't have any trouble with it, so we haven't given it a star. I won't go into detail, but that little fact aside, we got the app to work, and we were able to engrave a good number of things, and we had fun doing it. A 3D printer is an extremely expensive form of fabrication, especially compared to other printers. Thus, you will find yourself "burning" (literally) through a lot of stuff as you experiment with it over the course of the experiment.
