Love it! I couldn't have asked for a better solution! The string is what keeps the butterflies in place; I like how transparent it is.
Nylon bracelets and necklaces are easy to make with this sturdy material.
I'm very pleased because the same item costs twice as much at a chain craft store. Even though it's just fishing line, and I go through thousands of feet of it every year, it's still expensive. This is great for small projects, but if you need a lot, take it to a sporting goods store and have them make you a large spool with the exact same weight and width.
It's ideal for my projects and products, which I create and sell on Etsy. It's nice and thin, but it's so strong that I used it to hold my Christmas tree in place!.
The sheerness of the line is something I really like. I hung ornaments from a chandelier with it. It was simple to work with and it turned out beautifully. What I didn't like about it was that I assumed it would be one continuous line from which I could cut the lengths I needed. When I removed the plastic piece from the line, the spool began to fray. It's as if it's been cut into various lengths and re-spooled. I didn't mind because I needed smaller pieces anyway; it was just inconvenient. Someone who required longer pieces would not be able to use this. It's possible that this was an isolated incident.
I used it for a balloon project and it turned out great. The string was hidden behind the ballons, so you couldn't see it.
Tomorrow CanOpener, I'm going to visit a neighbor's apartment. And when I entered her apartment, I was taken aback by the sheer number of prisms on the ceiling. If you looked in her window, you'd notice that she had a string of crystals hanging from the bottom of her blinds, as well as crystal figurines on the window cell. It was lovely, so when I moved into my new apartment, I decided to follow suit. I bought this line and it works well, but I can't seem to get the sun to make prisms in the right way. But I'm going to keep this line for some crafts that I think it'll be perfect for.
