These beads look blue due to the paint

These beads came off the blue paint when I washed them, which makes me think they are not genuine. This has never happened before with any of the other lapis lazuli beads I have owned. Using the blue paint, I also dyed my fingers as I put together the There is a good chance that it will stain clothes and/or skin.

How do I tell if a lapis lazuli is truly genuine? This lapis bead looked a little glossy in the advertisement, but at this price it was a good value

For 2 orders, I didn't get much lapis lazuli. However, I was happy since I was able to use it in several projects. It was 10 months ago that I ordered them. as I had them out to use in a project, I used a little bit of isopropyl alcohol on my finger and was astonished to find that it had removed the blue color from the beads. In order to clean everything, I soaked the beads in alcohol for just a moment before rinsing Though they're not as shiny as they once were, they're still more natural looking now. This is not real lapis lazuli, and I'm not even sure whether these beads are genuine. Neither the order description nor the description of the beads explained whether they With the blue gloss paint removed, they're better in my opinion. The lapus lazuli stone is extremely interesting however, I would like to know if it is true.

There is no consistency in the colors

Almost looks as if it is made of When I ordered two of the same 4mm citrine beads, the colors of the two beads were different. Furthermore, I found broken glass beads in one of the bags, which lead me to believe the items are not gemstones but rather glass.
