Selected User Reviews For LPBeads 100PCS 8mm Natural Amethyst Beads Gemstone Round Loose Beads for Jewelry Making with Purple Stretch Cord
This "authentic" amethyst is nothing more than glass, and you don't need a microscope to see through the sham. I'm not going to buy anything from LP Beads ever again. The bag, which was made in China, had the code X0028PCPVX. This company's interpretation of AUTHENTIC is PURPLE DYED GLASS. br>For the record, amethyst (quartz family) is a drilled crystal, not a dimpled glass; note that the LPBeads company does not show the drilled end of the beads. BUYING FROM THIS BUSINESS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA!.
Fake, I torched one of the stones with a strong lighter and it caught fire, cheap Chinese I'm not sure how it got good reviews from others, perhaps hypnotized?.
However, I am not a gemstone expert; rather, I am a gemstone enthusiast who frequently works with gemstones. (In addition, in contrast to some other reviews, all of the packages included 100. ) ) I'll keep buying these beads, but I'd be cautious about buying amethyst, as the seller stated in the q&a. I would also stay away from the section where the turquoise is dyed stone. In general, I'm very pleased.
Edit: Today I received my third order of Rose Quartz beads, and there were remnants of pink dye on the plastic packaging. I'm disappointed because I paid over $30 for Rose Quartz beads from this company, and I'm not sure if the other stone beads are genuine.
After allowing the bead to soak for a half hour, I took a photo of it in rubbing alcohol. When viewed under magnification, the stone appears to be genuine, albeit a cheaper lapis stone (possibly sodalite) that has been dyed to deepen the color.
That implied they'd stick together, I assumed. Yeah. They aren't magnetized in the least. This is a set of ordinary beads. I gave it three stars because it's of good quality. I, on the other hand, believe I've been duped completely. This purchase has left me feeling very let down.
The beads are fantastic and arrived quickly. The only issue I have is that I didn't receive all 100 beads. Only 94 out of a possible 100 points were awarded to me. I didn't bother returning for the 6 beads, but I thought it was worth mentioning because it was the ONLY reason I deducted a star.
These crystal beads were made to look real, but they were dyed to look like real crystal beads. Resin was used to create this piece.
I've attached a photo to demonstrate how the finished jewelry appears in bright light. br>br>The 8mm Hematite beads are fantastic! They appear to be real and are quite heavy. I've included a photo of these beads as well.
