So I decided to show the difference in size between an 8mm and a 6mm bead. I hope this information is useful to those who are seeking assistance. This is a set of beads that I would highly recommend. They are my favorite.
I'm not sure how much they paid people to make these look like glass or crystal beads, but they're made of PLASTIC! This corporation should be ashamed of itself! As I write, I'm looking for the return policy, and it better be there! I'm furious!.
I recently purchased these beads and am extremely satisfied with their quality. They're gleaming and glistening, and they'd be a lovely addition to handcrafted jewelry. I make a lot of rondelle crystal jewelry, and these beads are ideal, as well as the seller. It was delivered quickly and in good condition. I'm extremely pleased with myself. Although these beads are labeled as crystal glass, they are actually made of plastic. I will not order from this company again; I dislike returning items, but I had to do so this time.
THEY ARE ACTUALLY MADE OF GLASS. I ordered these in the smallest size, 4mm, and the hole through the bead is still large enough to fit a small gage wire or elastic string through to make bracelets, earrings, and other jewelry. There are a lot of each color, and the hard plastic case they came in has a good and tight closed lid, so it's ideal for storage without fear of it falling open and spilling hundreds of small beads all over the place. The light colors aren't as opaque as they should be, but they're still beautiful. They aren't perfectly spherical; two sides of the bead are flatter, allowing them to sit comfortably against the skin without rolling.
They have the same gleam as Swarovski crystals. These beads have a really nice cut to them. Some reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with the beads' size, but I prefer it because I dislike bulky, chunky jewelry. These beads have a nice shape to them, and the colors are vibrant and lovely. There is a lot to choose from. The container is made of a clear plastic that is very nice to look at. I was surprised by how small the container was. The entire container fits in your hand, not just the palm, but the entire length of an adult female hand, which is fine because there are a lot of beads inside. I am very pleased with these beads and the price; they will allow me to make many bracelets. For my bracelets, I combined them with a different set of Bicone beads with a different cut. I'm sure I've already mentioned how lovely the colors are. Because they are truly vibrant and defined, each color is distinct and striking (for example, emeralds and peridots are vastly different).
These faceted glass Rondelles (not Briolettes) come in ten different colors, each with 30 pieces. Each piece is approximately 8 mm x 5 mm in size. 5mm. The only flaw is that this set lacks a "Jet Black" color; however, it does include a deep Amethyst and a pale smoky Gray called "Black Diamond," both unusual (but lovely!) colors in a set of this type. Each color has its own 1" square slot, which comes in a plastic box. The box is of good quality, with well-functioning latches that keep the contents secure. When the latches are properly closed, the contents are sealed inside, even if they are accidentally knocked onto the hardwood floor. After the drop, the individual plastic section pieces became loose, but they were still intact when first opened. The sections snap back into place with ease. This is a nice set, good quality, and a good value for the money; I've already used about half of the box and plan to buy a few more in this size; I also bought the same style set in the 6mm size and was very pleased with it. These are something I would strongly suggest.
I work in the jewelry industry and am always on the lookout for reasonably priced beads, particularly for my custom rosaries. These Bingcute 6MM beads are absolutely stunning. This is my sixth order, and I intend to keep purchasing beads from this manufacturer. ** NOTE - Always check your size; this is a 6MM review! 6MM is a small bead size, so double check your size when ordering because they come in a very small pot, and I don't want you to be surprised or upset if you don't know your size. 8MM is a great size for new beaders to make bracelets with. ** Good luck with your beading, my friends.
