Yes, they cut beautifully if you're left-handed; I'm also a leftie, so I can attest to that.
They do, in fact. They're always helping me open boxes.
Of course, if you don't sterilize them properly before using them on food and in between uses, they could be a health hazard. It's also worth noting that these aren't your typical "kitchen scissors." Kitchen scissors are usually stainless steel, are designed for cutting things like pizza but also thicker things like meat (which would be difficult with these scissors, which aren't designed to handle "thick" objects), and are usually made to come apart and reattach easily, to aid in cleaning/sterilizing (usually you can easily twist the handles so the two parts come apart at the pivot to facilitate cleaning), otherwise, food and "stuff" can agressively agressively agressively agressively I recommend buying a good pair of kitchen scissors (they aren't too expensive) and reserving them for "kitchen use only." Kitchen scissors, on the other hand, are terrible at cutting things like paper, especially anything that requires precision.
I haven't tried it, but they appear to be more sharp than the kitchen scissors I use to cut meat. br>I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

They weren't like that. br> br>They're razor-sharp and well worth the investment! We usually only purchase name brand scissors (starts with an 'F' and ends in -). the- I was tired of spending a lot of money on scissors only to have them 'walk off' after a few uses. ' So! I bought these after doing a lot of research. br>I know you're not supposed to cut your hair with scissors like this, but I had my mother do it and she didn't complain. They are, after all, still new. I'll try again in a few months after we've had a chance to use them in the 'appropriate' way and see how things go.
I'm not sure why these are rated so highly. Three years ago, I purchased three pairs of Scotch scissors and was considering replacing them. Because these were less expensive, I figured why not? I returned them because they were less sharp out of the box than my old scissors. I recommend that you do not cut corners to save time and money. Scotch scissors are a type of scissors that are used in Scotland.
This set is lovely, and I appreciate the fact that it comes in three pieces - I don't have many extras because I have one in every location where I want them in my house. They've been through a lot of use and haven't dulled in the least. I'm the type of person who has ruined flimsy scissors in the past, so I'm glad these can open a variety of Amazon packages. Furthermore, two of the three scissors are available in bright colors. The purple pair is my go-to pair for opening packages in the kitchen, and the green pair lives in my art studio - Both have held up admirably well in the face of the abuse I've given them. I would definitely recommend this product because it is well made and reasonably priced.
They can cut decently, but they're a pain to work with when it comes to wrapping paper. No matter how thick the paper was, these scissors couldn't glide; instead, they tore it into jagged little edges. I should've spent the extra money on Fiskars instead.
After all of our other scissors mysteriously vanished, we ordered a set of these. You know how it is when you have four children. So far, they've performed admirably and have a solid feel to them, unlike some other brands. They are unbeatable in terms of price and quality. I'll definitely buy more when the others go missing. When these "disappear," I will definitely purchase again! Lol.
I bought a three-pack and kept one in each of the drawers in my house where I'm always looking for a pair, and I'm glad I did because my local grocery wanted the same price for a single scissor. br>br>The blades are SHARP, not to the point of stabbing yourself, but sharp enough to slice wrapping paper or even thicker things in one motion. Handles are comfortable to hold. br>br> If the connections are pinched too tightly together, spray them with WD40 (or vegetable oil).
They do not cut the paper or cloth as they get closer to the handle; instead, they simply bend it.
The best scissors pack, and a fantastic price. All of them are razor-sharp. I have one in my kitchen for cooking shears, one for everyday use, and the last one I'm saving for a special occasion; I would buy them again. The various colors are helpful in remembering which one is for which purpose.
