These appliance dollies came in two different brands, which I ordered. The other one I got had eight legs and a weight rating of 1100 pounds. However, it took longer to put together. I just slid the bars into the corner pieces of each dolly and measured how wide they could open up while still remaining "stable" because my dryer was arriving early the next morning. " Although this one opens to over 27 inches square, it only has 4 feet. The other, which was 8 feet long, only grew to be 26 inches square. I chose this one because I knew my old dryer's dimensions were 27 x 27 and the new dryer's width was 27 inches. It was simple to put together, and I got it to be exactly 27 inches square. I'm glad I had it because when they came to install the dryer, they said they couldn't because it needed to be 18 inches off the garage floor. Something the salesman failed to inform me of. However, the 15-inch pedestal on this dolly raised it to the proper height. I was able to easily pull the dryer away from the wall once it was mounted on the dolly and connected, allowing me to clean the dryer vent behind it. This has always been a problem, and I'd rather be able to reduce the fire risk while also being able to clean the duct tubing. There is a small chance of some instability. All of the wheels are locked, and it appears to be stable enough with the 4 ft down. However, once the dryer was on the dolly, I noticed that it didn't take up the entire 27 inches. I'd say it's around 26 degrees. I'll have to make some adjustments to fit all four feet of dryer into the corners of the dolly. However, this means that more of the metal bar will be inside the plastic corners, which should increase stability. I'll be able to clean the duct by moving the dryer out a couple of times a year, but I'll have to report back on how it's holding up. Note: I couldn't have moved the dryer and its pedestal onto the dolly on my own. It would take two capable individuals to accomplish this. I'll have to enlist some assistance in adjusting the leg width. This dolly won't be moved very frequently. Except for cleaning the ducts, it will mostly remain in one fixed location. I'm going to measure the washer to see if it will fit on the other brand with 8 legs before returning it. That's all I have to say for the time being.
Without this, we would not have been able to install and service our stacked compact Samsung W/D. br>Our space is limited, but this base allows us to roll the stack away from the wall to service filters, adjust connections, and so on. br>It's very sturdy and helps to dampen occasional spin cycle vibration.
would most likely work well for a smaller appliance The weight carrying capacity is nowhere near what they claim, and the appliance I installed was barely half of the stated capacity. It seemed fine at first, but after 24 hours, the dolly platform had sagged to the point where it was resting on the screw down legs, even when they were in their most "up" position, rendering the appliance immobile. More powerful appliances, such as a washer and dryer, are simply not strong enough. in the fridge.
We've been hard at work priming for almost four years, and this is the worst purchase we've ever made. When we tried to move the washer for the first time, the plastic broke. It has a weight of 146 pounds, i. e. The capacity is nowhere near the claimed 720 lb.
It was easy to put together, but some of the metal insert rods almost didn't fit because they weren't square, requiring some force and manipulation. br>br>With my weight concentrated in one corner (235 pounds), it did crack. The metal rods were slightly extended to give it a longer, more rectangle shape, and it cracked in the plastic where there was no longer any metal support. br>br>Having said that, I believe you should be careful with how you load your load if you extend the rods. br>br>Even with the crack, I was able to dolly without difficulty. I moved a 600-pound gun safe by fully inserting the rods for added support. br>br>Unfortunately, the safe's shipping company would only deliver curbside and would only leave it at the front door as a last resort. I was able to lay the safe on its back onto the dolly by placing the dolly just inside. From there, it was a simple matter of rolling it across the tiled floor to where I needed to reposition it. Locking the wheels and putting down the feet held it perfectly in place, and I was able to easily raise the safe. This device saved my life by allowing me to easily get the safe into the house over the front door ledge(4. 5in high) with only a little help from the wife as extra hands.
Setting it up was a breeze. The machine sits perfectly on top of it and moves around with ease. If necessary, you can also lock the wheels. It was an excellent purchase, and it performs admirably for the purpose for which I purchased it.
This is a base that I can live with! When the washer is spinning, it does not shake. Although the bars do not appear to be particularly strong, I chose the one with double bars. If you have a small space, I recommend getting all wheels because you have to jiggle the pedals to get it to move. So far, the product has been fantastic!!.
This tiny doll is exactly what I was looking for. I have a five-year-old daughter. o c. ft. I needed to get the freezer off the floor so that I could move it more easily. This was the perfect solution for me.
