Questions & Answers

Is there a way to get it out through the floor?

Yes, ours is vented, so that's not an issue. Linda

Is this something that doesn't need to be vented?

It needs to be ventilated. I bought the outlet cord and semi-automatic switch separately. For my home setup, I used rigid galvanized venting. The hot and cold hoses were included in the purchase, but you may need a different length depending on your layout and setup.

Which voltages are you talking about?

The voltage is 220 volts.

Do you have a ventless dryer?

No, it's connected to the dryer vent.

After three months, the transmission was turned off. These models are "quite frequently" repaired, according to the repairman. Perfect for a small space! I wish I had purchased this years ago
5/5

We had a small "closet" type space in our dining room and couldn't fit a traditional washer and dryer in there. With more room to spare, this set fits perfectly. Both the washer and dryer do an excellent job of washing and drying clothes at the same time. Because I wash a lot of large loads, I always use the bulky setting. It's surprisingly quiet in comparison to other units; there's no banging. I was worried that because it was smaller, I would have to do more loads, but it turns out that I can wash more at once! It was fairly simple to set up.

In a small space, do some old-fashioned laundry
4/5

After months of use, I can only think of a few drawbacks; otherwise, I would have given it five stars. Lighting could have been installed in both the dryer and the washer, and it should have been. These small units are frequently installed in closets, and if you want to see into the washer in particular, you'll need to provide your own lighting. On the plus side, both the washer and dryer can handle enormous amounts of laundry. The controls are vintage, which is ideal for my tech-savvy daughter. If you're looking for something with an app, this isn't the machine for you. It's relatively attractive, very efficient, effective, and affordable. I'll be dead before this one breaks if it lasts as long as my previous GE washer dryer stacked unit. The spin cycle is extremely well balanced and relatively quiet, but the wash cycle makes an indescribably strange mechanical sound. 4+ stars.

I'm extremely disappointed
3/5

This review is partially critical of all modern washing machine options due to unrealistic regulations that place an excessive emphasis on "water conservation. " br>br>I adored my previous Kenmore Stackable Laundry Centers, which I purchased in 1999. Whirlpool bath. Take a look at the year 2021. It's always a good idea to conserve water whenever possible, - To me, the options for high, medium, and low are all about that. It's for the low water levels. When it came to my older units, I always used the "low" water setting. br>br>However, if conserving water results in unacceptably dirty laundry, it is not a good idea. a lack of ability to "soak" Doing laundry makes me so sad. The total cost of my new GE gas dryer laundry center, including installation. removing those two older Laundry Centers, which I adored - $1,850 - $1,850 - $1,850 - $1,850 & because there is no way to "soak" with modern Laundry Centers, GE, or other brands - I recommend switching to a NON LAUNDRY CENTER SINGLETON washing machine that includes a soak cycle. Hopefully, it shows how to direct the machine to provide more water (I prefer top load - Machines for doing laundry). Maytag is a non-electric washing machine. If you call the help line, the stack top load we ordered for our mountain home in 2017 allows the basin to fill up faster. enquire of them about the (secret? ) method of accomplishing this - Perhaps you should use "bulky item" as a setting. However, Covid- Many "good brands" suffered severe backlash as a result of the 19th century. Friendly methods that give you peace of mind will clean your clothes gently but thoroughly. We, as consumers, must fight tooth and nail for our right to clean laundry. washing machines with a user-friendly interface pleasant - We have the foresight to set the water level to "low" - if the job necessitates it As a result, we must engage in this fight- water-related issues with our legislators Regulators come in handy. br>br>While my two previous laundry centers sat side-by-side for 21 years, ONE SIDE IS WORKING EXTREMELY WELL. There's a problem with the water level; it's too low! Although it is a lighter unit, it is no longer just my husband and me at home
3/5

That was satisfactory. The low water level is something that cannot be tolerated. I've had to rewash loads, use a water pitcher to fill loads, and have my clothes come out with soap or lint patches. I've contacted a repairman, but after consulting the owner's manual, I'm not convinced the water level isn't where it should be. I'm thinking about canceling that pricey appointment and sticking to my water pitcher plan.
