Questions & Answers

Is it possible to disassemble this so that it can be transported in a suitcase?

It can't be taken apart once it's been put together.

What is the process by which the lavario removes water from clothing? I understand that you rinse as much as is necessary to remove soap from clothing, but do you ring out?

The water isn't spun out by it. You can transfer the clothes from the washer basket to the bucket and use the basket to press down on them. I don't bother with this because the results are moderate and you'll want to wring them anyway.

How effective is the wringing out feature, in your opinion? I'm not expecting it to be completely dry, but is it still extremely wet?

The feature of wringing out is completely ineffective. To begin with, it takes a long time to drain, and then you have to wring out the sopping wet laundry by hand, rendering the feature nearly useless.

The barral can part, not the piston 5 gallon part, has how many gallons and cubic feet?

Thank you for your time and consideration in responding to my question. Before responding, we wanted to get confirmation from the inventor. Our bucket (barrel) has a capacity of one pound. 10 cubic feet (2,393 cubic inches) and 38 cubic feet (2,393 cubic inches) four gallons We hope you found this information to be beneficial. With a few caveats, this is an easy and effective way to wash your clothes
4/5

This definitely cleans clothes and outperforms other options I've tried, but there are a few flaws that make me believe it doesn't deserve the 5-star rating that everyone else has given it. Also, before you buy, I recommend reading the manual online, which is available on their website and contains a few more details that may assist you in determining whether or not this device is right for you. Advantages: br>br> br>br>* Worked great on stinky clothes and sweaty workout clothes, but not so much on a mildewed bath towel. br>br>* It's light, has a low learning curve, and produces a lot of output. Construction that is long lasting. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>br>* Drying is difficult - Even though the documentation suggests pressing out the water under the basket once finished, the clothes are soaked with water regardless of what you do (as other reviewers have noted). I've been able to get away with leaving them on a drying rack in the bathroom overnight with a high fan on them. It doesn't help to twist them dry. br>br>* You are unable to remove the handle. In fact, there's a big warning at the start of the manual that if you try, you'll break the handle. This is problematic not only because it would be SO much easier to store the device with the handle removed, but also because removing the handle will break the device if you need to return it. When I was researching this purchase, I couldn't find anything about it. It's worth noting that you could do this with a flathead screwdriver and a little patience, but I wouldn't recommend it. * Soap - br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> There are no recommendations for how much soap to use or how to run multiple cycles with a single bucket of soapy water. I've attempted to outline some suggestions below, but it appears that there is a significant gap. Useful hints: br>br> * Bathtub: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b Because the bin holds a lot of water and could spill if it's knocked over, doing the entire process in a bathtub might be the best option, especially if you live in an apartment. br>br>* Soaking is a term used to describe the process of soaking something in water. If you have the time, soak your clothes for four hours. 8 hours (during the night). Take note of the word "earth. " Since the whole point of earth-friendly soap is to smell good, it will start to smell bad after 14 hours. The advantage of environmentally friendly soaps is that once they reach the sewers, they degrade. This method cleans your clothes and breaks down a lot of stubborn odors and stains. This can be combined with half a cup of bleach, vinegar, or baking soda (but see the bleach warning below). * Bleach: br>br> This is covered in the manual, but because this device can cause some splashing, use bleach with caution, wearing eye protection and cycling slowly. Instead of chlorine bleach, I'd suggest using regular bleach (sometimes referred to as "color safe"). Use of soap: br>br> I got a lot of mileage out of the following: earth- 12 of the first "small load" marker of friendly HE soap * Multi-br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b cycle: Although the instructions only mention a single cycle followed by a rinse, you can save a lot of water and soap by repeating the process. washing a large number of clothes in the same soapy water Remove the wet soapy clothes after the first load, place them in a bucket or bathtub, and repeat the process, adding a little more water soap each time to ensure that the basket is completely covered. I've done this a dozen times with no problems, even reusing the soapy water three times on two occasions. * Bucket: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br I'd recommend having a spare one on hand for things like adding water, holding clothes in between cycles, and so on. br>br>* Draining: To make the draining process easier, lift the bucket out of the water and rotate it slightly so it sits above the water. After that, empty the clothes into the bucket's bottom and press down with the empty basket to help squeeze out more water. This step can be skipped if you already have a wringing method. br>br>* Follow the directions a second time - I double the recommended lift-in time just to be safe. I don't want to mess around with the slow drying process, so I use push and cycles instead. Clothes that are filthy or smelly. * Floating basket: br>br>Issuesbr>br> If the basket floats to the top of the water, remove the lid and press down on all of the clothes to remove any remaining air. Alternatively, place a bucket on top and add a heavy object to act as a counterweight. br>br>* Mildew odor that persists: If your clothes have a mildewy odor, soak them longer and run them through more lift-and-dry cycles. as well as drop-off cycles I also like to use baking soda (which I dissolve in a full container of water before washing the clothes). I did about 20 minutes of lifting and 20 minutes of cardio. and-push down cycles, which proved to be successful.

The first time I used it, it broke! The product's weak points are the easily dislodged 4 lock clips at the top, which take the brunt of the cleaning action! br>Design flaws ——

If used correctly, it is very effective

My portable electric washer broke, so I bought a lavario to replace it. Of course, there is a learning curve to contend with. Although the instructions say to soak the clothing for five minutes, I found that this was insufficient to remove stains, food, or underarm deodorant residue. I can get heavily stained clothes clean by soaking them in warm to hot water for 30 to 60 minutes. A 10- to 15-minute soak is sufficient for items with no stains. I only use warm to hot water; if you only use cold water, you should soak the clothes for at least an hour. For each load of laundry, lift the basket up and down 30 times. To save your shoulders, push the basket down and let it float back up naturally. Pushing the basket down requires no strength, but pulling it up is a true bicep workout. Finally, get an electric spin dryer; the lavario recommends emptying the bucket, placing the clothes in the bottom, and pushing down on the basket to drain water; however, no matter how hard you push, the clothes will still be soaked wet. This washer appeals to me because it is built to last, is quiet, simple to operate, and performs admirably.

I wish others luck, but this was not a good product for me
3/5

The item was of no use to anyone. On the first use, the basket's handle and locks broke. Water splashes up from the tub and lands on you. The handle has two snap-in plastic locks, one of which broke off while attaching the handle to the basket. When removing the lid, the lid lock broke. Neither the clothes nor the dishes were cleaned. Sorry for the negative review; I despise writing negative reviews, but this product did not meet my expectations.

time job. When I'm not at work, I'm at my crossfit gym, running, swimming, doing yoga, and so on. I despise doing large loads of accumulated laundry and then handwashing all of my athletic gear. I discovered Lavario on Amazon and it has since become my go-to app for all of my work-related needs. Our clothes are always spotless and odorless when we get them out of the dryer. Lavario is one of the most well-known artists in the world. designed—not like any of the other portable washers I looked at. The upward trend Because it's so simple to use, I'm now doing all of my laundry in it. As a present for my brother, I'm purchasing another Lavario.
