I probably don't do more than three sets of twenty, but I give it time to sink in. between the two sets I fill the bathtub to the brim and then plunge in lines around it. Over the course of an hour or two, each circular foot is likely to receive 30 plunges.
I've been using the product for quite some time and I really like it. I use it to stir up the water a little but wet clothes can be super heavy so take care when moving clothes around and if the clothes are too heavy like jeans or a blanket, move them by hand.
First and foremost, I must state that it is entirely dependent on the degree of filthiness of the clothing. I am a 72-year-old woman who has no other clothing to wash than my own, and I rarely get my clothes dirty unless there is a spill. I wash in a 5-gallon bucket and only wash a few pieces at a time (less than 10) to allow them to move around in the wash water. Having said that, I've discovered that after about 15 to 20 pumps, my clothes are clean and ready to be rinsed. I then drain the water, wring out the clothes, refill the bucket with rinse water, and repeat the pumping process 10 to 15 times more. Then I drain the water, wring it out, and rinse it out again, but this time without using the pump. The clothes are then wrung out and hung up to dry. It appeals to me and saves me a significant amount of money!
I was having a similar issue. After several unsuccessful attempts, I pressed both buttons down while rotating the part I wanted to click in while pushing in, leaving the bottom portion of the buttons exposed. The bottom part of the buttons I had left exposed was finally captured by the holes.

I'm able to get a lot of dirt out of my clothes after refining my washing methods with this thing. After finishing my last load of laundry in my old apartment's washer, I brought it over to the new place and folded some of the shirts. I put those few shirts in the tub and used a little laundry soap with the Breathing Mobile Washer because I was curious if the conventional washer left dirt in them. Yep! There was a little dirt on the floor! It's not much, but it does demonstrate that traditional washers aren't quite as good as this. br>br>However, you will need to thoroughly wash out the soap. That was one of the lessons I took away from the experience. Now I wash about two loads in my tub with one load of soap, then use the Breathing Washer and drain the tub. Fill it up a little less this time, add 1 load of soap, use the Breathing Washer, and drain it. Then I refill it with soap-free water and use the Mobile Washer to agitate the remaining dirt/soap out of the clothes before draining. As it drains, I spread the clothes out over the tub's bottom and rinse the last of the soap away with the handheld spray head. After that, wring out the water and add the three. I have a 5cf dryer, so I wring out the wet clothes and hang them up to drip dry some more inside/over/whatever your tub is. If you have an electric dryer, this will speed up the drying process for those loads. br>br>I hope this information was useful. I'm sure there are many ways to do this, and I'm hoping to reduce the amount of water used here, even though it's about the same as what a washing machine uses in two loads or so.

It's incredibly simple to use and does an excellent job of cleaning clothes. I've gone back to doing most of my laundry this way, and it saves me a lot of time! Don't be hesitant to order this, especially if you're homesteading or considering going without power.
It's simple to use and does a great job! It easily ascends and descends. *A very important point to remember is that there must be enough water in the tub/bucket you're using, and if you overload your clothing to the point where this handheld washer can't smoothly go up and down or reach the bottom of your container, you'll have a difficult time and may break the handle. I just paid $4 at Wmart for two "Your Zone" 17 gallon plastic round tubs with rope handles. Keep in mind that unless you have a spin machine or a dedicated heavier mop wringer with a handle bar, you will have to wring your clothes out manually. But it's a lot of fun for me!.
You'll find everything you need and then some. This item has an A+ rating. MAZE- ING! The small size makes it SO much easier to store than any other model I've tried. I'll definitely order one for my RV and cabin, as well as send them to all of my friends. The handle is extremely durable, and everything cleans up beautifully. Until I started using this to strip clothes in the tub, I had no idea how much soap was left on my clothes from my washing machine. After removing so much from clothes I *thought* were clean, the water was DISGUSTING. br>br>To cut a long story short, THIS IS THE PORTABLE WASHING MACHINE YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. It's one of those books that I can't say enough good things about. br>br>Plus points for coming from a small business owner in the United States!.
5 STARS for excellent customer service! Update: I was blown away by the customer service; they offered me the option of replacing my broken phone. 5 STARS! br>br>As I opened the box and began putting it together, I realized I couldn't attach the extension because the secure metal hoop (I'm not sure what you call it) was missing! I'm afraid I'll start using it in that way, and the other half will fall apart.
The first time I used it, it broke at the handle. The metal part of the item broke. There's no way to fix it. It's extremely aggravating. I'd like to get my money back.
