The handle looks just like the original one and it functions My new handle looks exactly like the original handle my dryer came with when I purchased it two If I were you, I would recommend always opening the dryer door with 4 fingers in the middle under the handle after installing this handle. By doing this, you will prevent the handle from being subject to unnecessary stress when you try to open a door by pulling it open from the extreme left or right sides. As I recall, I broke the original handle in this way.

In this case, this cheap piece of plastic was wanted for $35 by the criminal organization Whirlpool. In addition, this Plastic piece from the Dollar Store has a known defect, yet the company has refused to replace it under warranty. It is literally just a few cent's worth of plastic, and this price is the best I could find. If you snap it in, be careful. I could feel one of the clips breaking off when I snapped it in, but it stayed and is set in solidly, so I left it in and I'm going to leave it there. It will get out of the slots on its own until the "supposed" unbreakable part comes out by itself. If I get another for 3, I will get another for free. Fortunately, there are plenty of other clips on this part to keep it in place. It's even possible that I'll buy a back-up now just to be prepared in case they run out.
It took me two or three years to break the handle on my Whirlpool Cabrio set. The first place I looked for a replacement was Whirlpool, but the $35 charge plus shipping put me off. The part arrived as expected, popped right into place with very little effort, and has been working perfectly ever since. I went to Amazon for a better deal and took a chance on this replacement at 1/7 of the cost. The existence of such an option is a good thing to know.

However, the clip pattern was correct, but it wouldn't snap into place. After shaving a little plastic off where it was hitting, they were able to fix the problem. I've seen the exact same handle selling for over $20. 00 plus shipping elsewhere, which is outrageous considering it's just a handle. The fact that the name of this particular product begins with the word "unbreakable" makes me laugh, but that is not the fault of the seller, as the manufacturer of the dryer gave it that name. We are replacing this item because if it is truly unbreakable, why do we have to do so? It is easy to install and literally takes maybe 10 minutes. However, it is quite pricey, considering that my dryer is only a few years old and I'm already replacing the handle. You can find such an item selling on the internet all over the world. You should be able to land the blow with your heel within 15 seconds. I received it in a timely manner and it works and looks just like the original. In terms of "stretch," I have no idea exactly how I should rate it, other than the handle materials are somewhat flexible. This handle would be a great bargain if you were to be in need of a replacement for your dryer, which it appears many people are. You can buy.
