The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because it's hard to clean the surface! My laptop is some kind of matte / unwiped material, so when I try / clean it, it appears to be even dirtier than it was before. We love the color and how it looks in our kitchen, it came with a remote and fits in well. A great suction power is also provided by this device. As much as I would like to buy it again, I would honestly not recommend it, due to its difficulty to clean.

I find this hood to be very lightweight. Although I do not have a way to test the air suction, it seems to be working fine. You can't really tell how well the air flow is controlled by the buttons. In some places, there are also scratches. It looks scratched to me, so it must have happened by accident. I handled it with care, so I don't know how it became scratched. Although LED lights are "ultra bright" as they speak of it, they aren't really that bright. These are yellowish instead of the bright white LEDs I expected. It seems cheaply made overall, but will hang on the wall so that I don't mind it. Nobody will be tapping it to find out what it is made from. Since this is going into a rental home, I can ignore it.
