IKTCH 30 inch Built-in/Insert Range Hood 900 CFM, Ducted/Ductless Convertible Duct, Stainless Steel Kitchen Vent Hood with 2 Pcs Adjustable Lights and 2 Pcs Baffle Filters with Handlebar(IKB02-30'')

Here is my impression of the unit. Number lovers, here is something for you. In order to install the vent, the hood enclosure extends about 3 feet above the range and is built to enclose it roughly 26" high. It covers about 80% of the depth of the range and extends 4" on each side. As much of the vent pipe run as possible was kept short, starting with a 90 degree elbow right on top of the vent outlet, followed by a straight run out of Although there is plenty of air coming out of the other end of the wall, it doesn't seem to translate into such a powerful suction after the baffles are installed, as I expected. So far, I have only had positive impressions. Although the microwave vent that was installed there before is a vast improvement, it still needs to be improved. Like- The Size and Style of clothing
It's great to have the wave on and off feature - br> LED lights that are bright and efficient - The quality of the build is poor

Dislikes/annoyances are numerous- It turned out that the 6" adjustable elbow I bought from the big box store did not fit into the slot of the plastic adapter that attaches to the top of the vent port. I had to open the pipe a bit and overlap the sheet metal ends to fit into the slot. It may not be a problem depending on how you vent and the materials you used. It is still a good idea to check this beforehand. - I enjoy this "wave on/off" feature, but there seems to be one downside as well. Steam will collect at the angled surface of the switch/display assembly and be pulled out as it's pulled back after a short time (see image) because of the infrared sensor that it's working with. The front burner on my stove seemed to suddenly change speed and then shut off after I boiled water on it a while. The level was set to 2 at the time. I would like to clarify this as well. A timer was not set as neither anyone was nearby nor I used the unit's timer. * * **Br/*- The squirrel cage (blower) can vibrate as fast as it rotates because the motor shaft only supports it. Touching the hood will cause it to feel warm. I don't really mind (although it's not an issue for me).

I find this unit to be quite A single person has no trouble installing the unit since it is not particularly heavy. It has a lot of great features and looks amazing There have been some reviews that say the gesture feature is a little sensitive, but once you get the hang of it, it's In addition, there is a high level of sound. Our old unit was much louder at the higher settings, as to be expected, but this new one is much quieter. No matter what settings you choose, it pulls quite a bit of air. Our unit arrived with several small issues, but I emailed the seller within 20 minutes and received a prompt reply. The lights are bright, look great and are dimmable, which is extremely nice. Those who communicated with me did an outstanding job. The gentleman I dealt with was named Sammy and he was very courteous and efficient. We were immediately able to resolve our issues after he verified our issues. Product and seller are highly recommended by us and we are very happy with the product. My installation of the program was less complicated than I originally expected and I am impressed with the features. There is no doubt that the remote is extremely useful. Due to the fact that I do not have a vent in my kitchen, I decided to try this fan (it's a crossover fan, can be used for either setting). You must vent out, whether you want to or not. It is HIGHLY recommended that you get this.

I'm happy with it. It is wonderful to see these ventilation systems. A great deal of care was taken with the touch-less controls, the noise level was extremely low, and build quality was excellent. Air is moved very rapidly by this device, and it is extremely powerful. This is a large unit so make sure to measure your existing range hood carefully and twice! My wife is very happy with it, and now the house does not smell like anything she cooks, including eggs, bacon, or even fish or garlic.

I am satisfied with this product so far, even though the motion sensor is not perfect. The noise level is acceptable. It looks as though their manufacturer warranty is for five years.

Its appeal and effectiveness may make it difficult to recommend. My fan would automatically turn on whenever the on/off switch and the power buttons are pressed, because the sensors are too sensitive. I taped them over and used the on/off switch and the on/off button manually.

It's finally here! This range hood has an array of features and is easy to use! The space for it was built to accommodate the unit, so it was easy to install. It's been working for me even when I reverse it out the wall (not recommended because it restricts air flow) I haven't had to use anything more than speed 2 of the 4 options. With the wave on and speed control with a wave feature, I enjoy using them, but I also enjoy using the timer shut off feature. I could not be happier with this The surface is easy.
